I've had a ton of pressure- hard to even set out of bed in the mornings. But this is my third pregnancy and my OB tells me it's normal. Countdown is on. Good luck! Hope it gets better
YES!!!!!!! Hurts to get up or walk!! Mine even feels sore/tender to the touch. OB says it's baby growing and things are stretching out down there!! I've had it since 18 wks!
Your babies have most likely turned head down. My midwife told me thats the best indicator your baby has turned aside from an ultrasound. Their head are putting allot more pressure on the down stairs. Perfectly normal
same here, mine started just after 28 weeks as well. I sure hope it means he's turned around and in the proper position to make it worth being this uncomfortable!
I ended up in L&D during last weekends blizzard because of two days of the painful pressure and spotting. US showed baby head down for the first time. The resident said this probably caused the pain and cervical spotting. Everything else is fine.
B&H are different for everyone. Some women feel them in front, some in back. Mine have always been in my lower back. I am more prone to back labor as well though. They are still in the uterus, but some people feel them more in different places.

Good to know. This is my second pregnancy and I still cant for the life of me understand what the heck braxton hicks are?!? the only time I felt like I've ever had them is after an orgasm my uterus gets really hard, buts its never just happened on its own...I guess not everyone gets them so maybe I'm lucky that way? haha

BH is your body practicing for labor - toning the uterus. For some people (like me for the last 6-8 weeks) they feel exactly like what you described after an orgasm. My uterus feels like a rock. As long as you aren't having 4+ an hour they're just nature's way of preparing!
