So this is a bit overdue, but my Sylvie was born a month ago today, Feb 4. She was a week and a day late, but so worth the wait. My labor was longish, about 18 hours not counting about another 12 of pre labor contractions. I wanted to labor at home as long as possible, and ended up cutting it a little close - of those 18 hours only 2.5 were at the hospital. I was starting to push as they were wheeling me from triage to the birthing room which was still being set up! But, the result was the natural birth that I had hoped for and a healthy, 6 lb 14 oz baby girl.
I haven't been a super frequent poster here, but want to thank you all for being such great, supportive, and fun ladies. Good luck to everyone!
