Over the ice!!!

So....I fell in the ice yesterday. Landed right on my hip and knee. I was totally freaked out. Called my dr crying. Ended up in the maternity triage for two maybe three hours. Freaked out my mother and hubby. Baby is fine but my body is so sore from the fall.

Anyone else over this ice?! Where is the spring????

ugh. sorry you fell. that sucks. I slipped twice but neither time did I seriously fall. But I did really hurt my hip from the unexpected slip and limped for a few days after each. Very over it.

Yuck, I feel for you! We live at the bottom of a hill, and I literally had to hang on to the walls of buildings as I was making my way up it this morning. I'm am SO over winter.

I love how everyone is like you'll have the baby before summer, so your not hot and miserable. I'm like hell being pregnant in winter seems more dangerous. My husband wouldn't let me leave the house when we had ice. And now it's storming again....

Driving in snow/ice storm the other night really freaked me out. The semi drivers kept passing and splashing my car, blinding me and making me afraid they'd just run me over. I got home to find the front of the car encased in several inches of ice. Surreal. I drive home on interstate 80, starting just outside NYC. 40 minute commute was 2 hrs and 30 mins.
