  Feeling movements depends on many factors. I.E. how intune with your body you are, location of placenta, how active baby is, location of baby while active.
  Majority of the FTMs I have talked to said they didn't feel movement until right around 20W. Some didn't feel any until after 20W.

  I am 17 weeks as well and I don't feel any movements yet! It's still kinda early to detect noticeable movement and to determine whether it is baby or gas. I'm sure you will feel him or her move soon

  I didn't feel my first baby until after 21 weeks. It really varies by person and the pregnancy.

  17 weeks is early. I would take comfort in the fact that you heard the heartbeat loud and clear at your last appointment

  Right there with you. I am 17 weeks 4 days and I haven't felt anything. Last week I felt a very weird twitch under my belly button that lasted a few seconds. but that's it. and im not sure if that was even the baby. I know how you feel! lol I wanna feel my baby move so bad. Soon though.

  I'm 18 weeks 3 days and I still haven't felt the baby move, or at least haven't recognized it as that. I'm anxious to feel it but have heard it's still early at this point.

  I'm 18 w 5 d and nothing here either. My doc said for FTM its often as late as 22 weeks or as early as 17-18, so I'm not fretting over it. I look forward to it though because it will be another reassurance that everything is fine.

  Hey love, I felt my first movement last week, at first I thought my mind was playing tricks on me but she kept doing it because I was rubbing my belly. Try rubbing your belly, and talking to her. It might work I am 17 weeks!

  I'm ftm and at 17 weeks really wanted to feel something. Now at 18w5d I still can't tell if it's baby...it's not fluttering like everything says. It almost feels like little popping and tapping sensations. But, then again, maybe it's gas! I can't wait until I know for sure!

  i can pretty much tell bc if its gas usually id have feel it coming bc a pain in my stomach starts so if I feek somethin n I dont pass gas I assumeits baby but everyone is different but its exciting even if it a tapping feeling
