Overbearing grandmother

My grandma is coming to see me and the baby on Wednesday and I'm loathing it because she's really overbearing and a little controlling and I really don't wanna sit and watch someone lord over me and my child for 3 hours. She even said on the phone that my DD is her baby now. I know it was a joke but I know how she is so it's a joke with a touch of seriousness. I don't wanna eat her heart out of her chest so how can I deal with her?

    first of all take a deep breath! 3 hours is going to feel like a lifetime but it will pass quick enough. especially because DD will require you to care for her during the visit. Just take her punches as she delivers them and remember that you are that beautiful babies mother.
