Glider suggestions

I would love to get a glider for breastfeeding, does anyone have any suggestions on a decent one that is also decently priced? I was looking at a Shermag...

  • The Nursery Works Sleepytime Rocker is the best-looking, affordable one I found.
  • My local babies r us only has like three and they are way out of my price range. I think the most we can spend on one is $300 very maximum.
  • Ok, I know you said decent price but I am about to have my third and really wish I bought the fluffy nice glidder instead of the a standard minimal cushioned glidder I have. If you breast feed you will be spending hours and days in that chair. Just my two cents
  • I have an rh baby & pbk one for mine. I love them both. But, if that's too much, I've seen cheaper ones on target and Amazon. Or, try Craig's list. Lots of people have had luck.

Franco Paul born 6/4/15 at 39 weeks.  Mila Francesca born 10/19/13 at 37 weeks.  Both born via C-Section after 6 years of fertility treatments, disappointments and losses. Love them!!

  • My sister in law has the big comfy one that I wanted that she got from JCPennys but I never could find it so I ended up ordering one from homedecirator.com.
I'm not 100% happy but it will work and it's a piece of furniture I won't mind moving into another room later on. I have to say my sister in law has had hers for 9+ years (her oldest is 9) so if you plan on having more then one I'd make sure you find one that you love and will be usable through the years.
  • There is an Eddie bauer glider with an ottoman that I have my eye on at Target. I sat in it in the store and am determined to buy it. The price is $229.99 so I thought that was a very decent price.
  • Skip it and get a used or clearance leather glider/rocker that can eventually transition to your living room. Leather because it will get all sorts of liquids on it, and if you're going to spend $300, spend it on a char you'll use for years.

I only say this because I have a $400 nursing rocker that is lovely and stained all to hell and back. Leather. Get leather.
