First of all, everyone gains different amounts of weight so don't worry about it. However if you want to feel proactive about your weight gain, then try there following: don't eat junk food. Don't eat large meals until you feel stuffed, instead eat little and often. Take a 30 minute walk without fail every day. Cook your meals and snacks at home the majority of the time so you know you are eating fresh. I think every pregnant woman worries about weight gain. At least if you follow the above guideline you can feel good about how you are treating your body. Plus also remember that regardless of your weight gain, you still look beautiful because you are pregnant
Braxton hicks are painless, and no cramps. Sounds like you could be having early labor pains. Keep track of your contractions length and time between and reschedule your appointment for sooner. Let them know you lost your mucus plug and think you are having contractions (and the timing details) and they should get you in sooner.
I told them I was and said due to this being my first apt with them, after my original Drs office just shut down, they can't get me in any earlier, which totally sucks! But thanks for your advice. Me and my so just had sex (tmi) and I'm having HORRIBLE cramps again that won't go away. Going to the ER if continued. But again, thanks for your comment!
