LO Won't Drink Other Liquids Out of Bottle

She's 10 months and 1 week, and she drinks formula and breast milk out of the bottles just fine. It's when I place water or Apple juice in them when she turns her bottle into a chew toy. She hasn't gotten the hang of the sippy cup yet, and I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions?

    If it were me, I would just keep trying the sippy cup. It would be even harder to get rid of the bottle if she was used to getting all of her liquids from it, in my opinion. Maybe try several types of sippy cups or straw cups. She'll get the hang of it. My favorite sippy cup is by think baby. You can find it on amazon. It's a very natural latch and my daughter loves it!

    Maybe try different types of sippy cups. Sometimes my DS like the ones with handles or not, or different spouts. For some reason he likes Munchkin ones better than others.

    Also agree to try different types of sippy cups. I discovered that LO needs to have handles and I need to fill it as full as possible for him to be able to get anything out of it. He gets formula only in his bottles, anything else is offered in a sippy (just water and whole milk at the moment).

    ETA- don't get discouraged if your LO doesn't drink a lot from the sippy at first, we've been working for a few months and it's still a work in progress. Just keep offering it!

    Here's one thing to keep in mind: they're not thirsty (otherwise they would have been the past 10/11 months!) Until they switch over to eating no formula/less breast milk they really don't need or tend to care about what's in that cup. Still give her the cup and let her chew whatever because she'll figure it out in time and get used to it being around.

    BRady knows that warm is in bottle and cold is in sippy so milk Apple juice etc I. Sippy. You just have to keep trying also get different types of sippies some have different spouts. BRady only likes the one that have the straw and big ones the small ones that you have to tilt he does not like
