Not feeling a thing.

Hi ladies.
I have been through 2 pregnancies already. I'm 5 wk and 4 days pregnant. I don't feel a thing and my last 2 were awful.
Feeling kinda scared because I don't feel awful. Am I nuts?
What's your experience?

Re: Not feeling a thing.

  • I'm a newbie and this is my first pregnancy. I'm 8 weeks and have felt nothing thr whole time except a little cramping. I think we're just the lucky ones! ♡

  • My first one i was so nauseous and tired right from the start. This time around I'm not nauseous and I'm just a little tired. Might still happen but yes, sounds like we're part of the lucky few. Every person is so different and so is every pregnancy.

  • I'm also lucky as you all... No symptoms, only sore boobs (and only sometime) and a bit tired.. Hope stays like this!
  • This is my first pregnancy and I am not feeling anything either.  I just seem to mentally know that I am pregnant so it is kinda weird.
  • When i found out at 4 weeks i had cramping like i was going to get my period(it lasted until this week)and i was tired all of the time...this week everything is gone....its actually really worrying me. My appointment isnt until next week so i wont really know until then. But i have no symptoms at all! :/
  • Has everyone with no symptoms had their first ultrasounds yet?
  • I had same problem its my 2nd pregnancy and it hit me hard at 6weeks I'm only 8 weeks && 1 day now but please enjoy ur no symptoms... I'm so nauseas it's not funny. I hate throwing up but I'd rather get sick then horrible nauaeas all the time...
  • I won't have an US until 8-9 weeks. Going too early can cause another set of concerns.
I just hope we are all ok.
  • I was just like this! so sick with my first. very very mild symptoms this time.....until today! 7 wks 2 days...ginger ale, sea bands, b6, saltines, lemonheads, and I still haven't hardly been able to get off the couch today. I say enjoy it while it lasts cause you never know when they might show up!

  • I was on this board worried sick, following all these "no symptom" posts because I felt totally normal for the first 2 weeks I knew I was pregnant. I felt great, actually, aside from sore breasts...until about 3 days ago. (I'm currently 7w5d.) Now, I feel mild nausea if my stomach is empty and the worst of it happens at night, around 8-9pm. That is my "morning sickness" I guess. Mild, intermittent cramping and just a general nauseous/sick feeling for a few hours. Today I feel like a bloated beast, ugh. Overall it is still quite mild, but definitely there.
  • I have Shannon, I had a 6w and a 7w ultrasound and saw a healthy baby with a healthy heartbeat : -) I think symptoms are just different for everyone.
  • when i was 4 weeks "im like why havent i experience that much symptoms, then yikes when i hit 6 weeks every symptom in the world lol" every pregancy are different
  • I'm 6 weeks, all I feel is a little cramping and I'm super tired. Cry a lot, weird appetite...  But no sore boobs or nausea yet!
  • I'm 6w today, no nausea or mood swings...just tired, slight cramping, and my boobs are sore (on and off it seems). These posts have definitely helped to reassure me that my lack of symptoms is ok.
  • Same here. 8 1/2 wks. No morning sickness. Occasional mild cramping sore boobs and sleepy. That's it.
  • Same here, 7weeks+3. No nausea, just tons of bloat, constipation and a some gassiness (which causes uncomfortable cramps, ugh). Oh and moodswings. Boobs arent sore, not sick, no food adversions, and no real cravings!
  • I didn't feel anything till 7 weeks this time around... The it hit hard
  • Seeing this makes me feel a lot better! I'm 6 weeks and I've only had mild cramping and fatigue. So glad I'm not the only one, I've been nervous for my first appointment
  • I went through the exact same thing. I was just so worried that my little one was actually in there. Apparently everyone's symptoms or lack there of are all different so don't worry. Stress affects the baby too. You will fill a million times better after your dr visit. Seeing the heartbeat makes everything else go away

Yes this definitely makes me feel better about not having any symptoms except fatigue which is normal for me all the time! Lol thanks ladies i hope everyone's excited as i am for this new chapter in life! :)
  • I've miscarried twice in the last year around 6 weeks, so I was glad to feel nauseated at weeks 4 and 5. Once I hit week 6 that went away and I started to panic. I am always tired and have a few other symptoms off and on but it's good to know there are other mommas who are just as concerned. Sounds like it's pretty normal for symptoms to come and go.
  • My first pregnancy was great I was a little tired, ate a lot, and got real fat. I didn't have heartburn till the last trimester. With my second I found out I was pregnant because I started vomiting every morning it lasted all my 1st trimester and came back the last two months of pregnancy and I was never tired. This is my third pregnancy and I have soar boobs for the first time, I feel like I cannot sleep enough, and I have lots of vomiting and mood swings with my husband not my kids lol. First Dr. appointment is on March 4th I will be 8 wks and 5 days and they said I was getting an ultrasound hopefully everything looks good. Enjoy not having symptoms!
  • Enjoy not being nauseous!! I am 7 weeks and can't get out of bed.
  • I am 5weeks 2 days today with zero symptoms! I'm very scared because I miscarried in December (my2nd one).

  • I never had many symptoms, but what I did have disappeared for two or three days and worried me because I have had two miscarriages. However, everyone I told in real life just laughed at me gently and told me it was normal for symptoms to change. Sure enough, sore chest and very light nausea are back, and now I have a new friend named fatigue. :)
  • Oh quick go knock on wood!! I told my nurse I was surprised I had absolutely no symptoms and no nausea at 5 weeks and she told me I might regret saying that... And boy do I ever. Almost to the day my 6th week started I became so nauseas it's not even funny, boobs sore, back hurts, and exhausted... Just enjoy feeling good while you can and good luck! :)
  • I'm 6 weeks 4 days and no morning sickness just sore boobs, cry a lot, and Lower back ache I miscarriage last November so I just pray everyday that passes, good luck ladies.
  • I'm 5 weeks and 4 days myself and I haven't had much movement because it's too soon but I can feel my baby heart beat so I'll put my phone on my belly and watch it move so it makes my day to see the heart beat
  • I am 6 weeks along, so far I have sore boobs and back, crabby and tired. I am grateful that I do not have morning sickness! I can't wait until I start feeling other stuff. Or at least go to the doctor for the ultrasound so I really know there is something in there!

Ashley1990 ~ is there an app or something that you use for the heart beat?

  • I only feel exhausted and have headaches...and not every day. I'm only 5 weeks and change along though, so from what I'm hearing...that may all change come the 6 week mark! Praying it won't and I'll be one of the luck ones... :)
  • Hi, I thought it was only me! This is my 2nd pregnancy and I'm also 5 weeks. With my daughter morning sickness took over my life for the 1st trimester after I turned 6 weeks so it feels weird that I'm not sick. Everyone is saying that I have nothing to worry about, but it's like I'm obsessing over not having nausea even though I hated it. I'm praying that I continue feeling normal as long as the baby is okay. Maybe we've lucked up this time around!!
  • With my first pregnancy I found out at about 4 weeks along, and starting at about week 5 is when my morning sickness hit. I'm now pregnant for the second time, 5 weeks and 3 days and the only thing I have is noticed is mild cramping and my breasts are already swollen! As for morning sickness I haven't had that yet but headaches are daily and worse at night! Each pregnancy really is different :)

My first pregancy didn't go so good at 6wks I have morning sickness in the morning and in the night but only around that time everything that would go in everything would go out that's why I would drink my prenatals when I thought was the right time for my stomach it lasted tell like 11wks. Then I had my second pregancy everything was the same at the beginning until I have a miscarriage. Now, that this is my third pregnancy at 5 wks worry cause I don't have morning sickness only sore boobs, moody, nauseous, cravings, and most of the time really tired some symptoms That I wouldn't have for my first and second pregancy. I'm so glad that I'm not the only one wondering if my baby is in there or the don't get all the symptoms at the beginning of our pregnancy. Thanks
