energy tips anyone? so tired

First off, I have to say I'm very fortunate to not have morning sickness. My beef is I just have no energy whatsoever and can't sleep a well rested sleep. Any tips to increase energy or is this just the way it is going to be for awhile? Drinking my allotted one cup of coffee doesn't really do anything for me :(

Re: energy tips anyone? so tired

  • Drinks lots of water, eat every two hours (if possible), and get exercise every day.  I know you are tired and probably don't feel like exercising (I know I never do), but after you exercise you will usually receive a nice boost of energy and, over time, you should start to feel better.

  • Fatigue was and is my only pregnancy symptom. In my experience, there's nothing much for it, but it got better for me around 11 weeks. I know it sucks being out of it all the time! Hang in there
  • I second @Emma2601's advice. Staying hydrated and getting some exercise makes a huge difference for me. Even if you just go and walk around a shopping center for half an hour, it can really boost your energy level. There are great prenatal workout videos available now, and some are on YouTube, so it's just a click away! I never feel like doing it, but once I do, I never regret having done it!

  • Walk. I either go outside or treadmill... I force myself because I'm exhausted but it is worth it.
