Loving the new rules on here!

So I gave myself a few months brake from here as it was getting really annoying with all the bitching and sarcastic replies(like oh no she didn't she must be a newbie etc) but everything's changed now, I don't see any of them rude girls on here anymore and the annoying gifs have stopped, it's become a much more pleasant place. The saying is true some people are like clouds once they disappear it's a much better day.

I was just thinking about that this am!! We come here for advice/similar experiences. I was afraid to ask a question for fear of being made fun of or someone saying google it or look it up, that question has been asked a million times!!!!

I strongly agree. I had started looking around on here just before the rule change and was taken aback by all the snarky comments and nastiness. I have no idea or opinion on who was at fault for what, but it seemed a toxic environment that might add more stress than support. I left it for a few weeks and when I checked back, the atmosphere had significantly changed.

Couldnt agree more, a much better positive place! And not scared to post something if I need to, it's a shame it couldn't have happened sooner as we're all due soon, pleanty of time to still enjoy the new birth club, heehee <:-P Negativity will never get you anywhere.

I wasn't here when it was "bad" as people are saying...but personally a little snarkiness isn't always bad. I prefer honesty over cupcakes and rainbows. Some of the stuff that gets posted does get redundant and I don't think people say how they really feel.

Yes some things are redundant. People ask stupid questions, people won't use the search function, people like youneek names or people want the board to name their baby. People want throw their own baby showers. People want to know if they've gained too much or too little weight And sometimes people don't ask their doctors first. I know these things like I know my own name.

I think constantly policing the boards of this would make me grouchy and snarky too. I'll take the rainbows ;-)

I had actually stopped looking at the board because I was tired of reading all the nasty/snarky comments. I just happened to click on a thread today for the first time in months and was pleasantly surprised at the change!

i've been on here for a while now...made a couple of posts & gotten some pretty good feedback! Honestly, I do see a change in the catty back-n-forth bullshit among the females on here & I agree, it has gotten to be much more "pleasant". Although everyone's entitled to say whatever the hell they wanna say, there's a big difference between ADVICE & CRITICISM.

And, yes, there are a lot of repetitive posts on here, but so what....that's why i don't click on them....

ANYWAYS, WELCOME BACK & EVIDENTLY YOU WEREN'T THE ONLY ONE THAT NOTICED THAT IT'S NOT SO SHADY IN HERE ANYMORE. BOOM.

I'm with you OP. I stopped coming on here for a while too. And now I'm back and hoping to be back to stay. It's nice to see that the creators of the bump realized how bad it had gotten and corrected it. And I personally don't care if similar questions get asked again and again. It's a small price to pay to not have to see all the bitchy gifs and sassiness that was hurting the feelings of so many women. It was just too stressful coming on here before too. It was like walking on egg shells! Much better now. Thank you to all the mods. I love the new rules and I love the bump now.
