Congrats! I just got my results today, too! Everything's normal and we're having a boy! I keep telling myself that the gender test isn't right 100% of the time, but I can't help but be super excited anyway! :-)
I know these ladies are talking about blood tests which can be expensive if not covered by insurance. . You can tell on u/s these days sometimes at 12 wks according to my dr. We're going in for a 14 week u/s to determine gender. . It's only $50! Can't wait
We're naming her Amelia Caite. It took us just under 2 weeks to get the results back from our doctor; it's been a really long 2 weeks waiting, but we're really happy. Insurance is paying for the test since I will be 35 when she's born. It would be awesome if you could just have the test done to determine sex for less money wouldn't it?
Just ask your doctor. There are multiple "brands" of the test. Mine is called Verifi and the lab they use will cap the cost at $25 if your insurance doesn't cover it. Doesn't hurt to ask! I'm 28 and they didn't mention anything about a required age.

Re: It's a girl!!!
How do they do this test? Do they just take blood from your arm?
