Anyone here not a first time momma? I lost my mucus plug last night and I know it can very but I want to see how long it was after loosing your plug that labor started..

    About 3-4 days with my first and 3 days with my third child but that's just me personally. I've heard it can vary a lot

    I lost mine about a week ago and I'm still pregnant. Midwife said it can vary and it is nothing to be alarmed over and not a reason to go to L&D over. There are a couple other threads regarding the plug, scroll down a little and check them out for any other questions :)

    With my first son I lost it at 9am and he was born at 3:30am..I was 39+5
    I'm currently 39+1 and lost mine this morning aswell so just waiting to see if it turns into anything more :)
    Try going for a walk around the block.. Best of luck :)

    Thanks ladies. no real pains. It was a bit bloody. I am 37 weeks and 3cm dialated already. This is my first. And stefmxo sorry for the "repost" you didn't have to reply, as you sound annoyed this topic has come up again. Just curious about others experiences. I know it can very a lot. I'll keep waiting . Little man will come when he wants to. :)

    At least there isn't a picture this time.......gawd for the love, lol

    I'm a FTM. I lost mine late in the afternoon on the 19th this month. My water broke at 3:00 on the 20th... And I gave birth at 9:40 am on the 21st.

    Mucus plugs and bloody shows mean jack squat. I lost mine a month and a half ago built a new one and lost that too. I'm still pregnant. Lol. Here's the thing, your body never stops producing mucus so you could keep building plugs and keep losing them. Just another glamorous pregnancy symptom. I tell ya what, nothing makes me feel more beautiful than mucus. *eye roll* :|

    I was 2 cm dilated last Monday, lost my mucus plug Tuesday and still nothing. I'm a FTM.

    Last time I lost my mucus plug & had bloody show at 2am & my son was born that day at 7pm. Guess it's very different for everyone.
