I haven't experienced this personally, but it's not uncommon. With the increased vascularization (sp?) of the cervix, sometimes sex can irritate it and cause bleeding. Just monitor it, if it doesn't stop or gets worse with cramping call you doctor.
Thank you. It's stopped as far as I can tell. I have a super sensitive cervix, and this is my third baby so this shouldn't surprise me, but I don't remember bleeding with intercourse with their pregnancies. I'm sure all is well though.
I had the same thing happen to me around the same week. I of course freaked out a little and called my OB. She told me it was normal to have a little bleeding after sex as stated by dreaming mommy it is due to increased vascularization. She said. Unless I was bleeding enough to fill a whole pad and in pain not to worry.
