Hair.... LOSS?!

Hi! So everywhere I read that you're going to have this glorious mane of thic glossy healthy hair thanks to pregnancy hormones!

I'm losing hair dammit! Was so looking forward to that!

Anyone else going through this? And any ideas why this could be happening?

    Not going through loss but with my last pregnancy my hair became gross. It was greasy and unmanageable yo say the least . I hope your hair situation gets better asap.

    U should have your blood work done to check your thyroid right away. Thy an cause hair loss I have hypothyroidism and pregnancy can mess up your thyroid. Thyroid problems can cause Probably with your pregnancy including miscarriages def call your dr.

    I lost hair with my last two pregnancies (my son and my angel). No hair loss this time interestingly.

    I have naturally fine/thin hair so it's especially annoying to lose it.

    Wow! I hope its not my thyroid- had it checked a couple of months ago but was normal.

    That's interesting mamaowl, what changed this pregnancy? Eating differently? :-?

    I lost hair both during preganancy and again several months post-partum! It was terrible! You could tell around my hairline it was thin and when it grows back, you have all these little spikey hairs! The gorgeous locks were not for me either. So far no loss this time, but it started like mid-pregnancy for me last time.

    I lost my hair by the handfuls beginning in the 2nd tri last time. My doctor said it was just hormones, but I was worried it was something more.

    I have an 8 mth old and I lost so much hair postpartum and now I'm pregnant and hope my normally thick heir comes back! Ugh! It was great with my last pregnancy so I'm hoping I'm that lucky again.
