Please, No! Not yet!!

The last few mornings I have woken up super nauseated. My feet hit the floor and 2 minutes later, I feel like I could vomit but have yet to. I'm only 4w1d. I don't know if I would feel better if I did or not. Whenever I have gotten sick in the past to the point of vomiting (not pregnancy related) it has always made it worse and my body will literally heave and I have no control.

Is anyone experiencing nausea/vomiting this early on? This morning, I had my DH toast me a slice of toast before I even sat up and i feel like it helped a little. My friend recommended keeping me container of dry cereal crackers by my bed and eating a handful or two before sitting up. That is what seemed to help her some.

  • If it gets that bad, I would ask the doc for a prescription for nausea!
  • I had a stomach bug on Monday, nothing would stay down. The nausea stuck around for several days, prompting me to take a test. With my oldest I had all day sickness and lost 15lb! This time it seems as long as I eat a couple bites of something every 2-3hr I feel alright. If I go much longer than that I get super nauseous.

  • I've been a little nauseous too. Dry cheerios and drinking water has helped me. This is my second pregnancy but i didn't feel this way with my first.

  • Thanks for the advice! I have my appt on Wednesday so I will definitely be asking her. The good news is that as of right now, it passes after 2-3 hours and the rest of the day I have been fine. I'm sorry you are all experiencing morning sickness but I'm glad to know its common this early.
