I've been getting one to two pedicures a week since I hit 35 weeks!!

    Wow good for you!
  • I also need a pedicure.  My heels are starting to crack even though I use the pumice stone in the shower daily.  And my toenails need attention.  And I want a house cleaner.

I'm super excited though work-wise because my boss finally dropped my work load down to next to nothing and I'm not stressed all the time any more.  4 more weeks to go!!

I feel horrible for saying this, but I am resentful that my mother in law, who is babysitting, does everything to avoid taking my 2 year old outside. We live on the 3rd floor, and she is out of shape, so she makes excuses to him to not go out. Today, she told my toddler it was too cold. 55 degrees! I want to take him out, but he often needs me to carry him upstairs...and that's just painful and dangerous at 39 weeks (especially if he's throwing a tantrum). I'm a bad person, I know.
  • I haven't even put lotion on my feet in weeks. It's so exhausting to even put socks on

  • @maryvh I understand! I actually can't even get my shoes on anymore. Due to swelling though and not just exhaustion. So I have been driving my 1st grader to school wearing my slippers.
  • I'm so thankful my step mom is throwing me a shower, but it's tomorrow, and I'm exhausted.
I mentioned we should have done it weeks ago, but she actually wanted it March 7th, two days before my c section.
I know I sound like a brat, but I'm having to help a lot and I just don't feel like it :(
It will be worth it, I'm just tired
  • I hate being on light duty at work. Its nice because it isnt so painful...but damn am i ever bored!!! Its too soon for maternity leave. I think in 2 weeks i should throw in the towel. No lie. 38 weeks is plenty...we shall see.
