Hi I did my 20 weeks ultrasound and they said it's a girl. No I went to 3D ultrasound and I'm 24 weeks they found out its a boy. I ask the tech how did it happened? She was showing me the male gender and it's confirmed it was a boy.
Many years from now, you should have a good idea about your child's gender. In the meanwhile, it sounds as if your anatomy scan did not detect any abnormalities or defects, so congratulations!
Babies are uncooperative, u/s techs are people and even highly trained people can make mistakes, the 3D people could be wrong instead, etc, etc. The only way you'll know 100% is when the baby gets here. But it sounds like you have a healthy baby in there, so congratulations on the successful u/s!
Thank you guys for the response it's just that we got lots of boys in the family and everybody is excited when I did my 20 weeks ultrasound and result is girl. Now I don't know if I can still believe the 3d since she show me the gender but still have doubt on it. I also read some 3d ultrasound can make mistake. So I will just keep the girls clothes that was given to me if ever.
It happened to us too! We were told a girl at the 3d place but then 3 other ultrasounds showed a boy. We were in shock but happy either way. The hardest part was that we named her and my other kids thought that were getting a sister so it was just an adjustment.
@jheg just an FYI gender and sex are different - you are referring to sex. People on the boards feel the distinction is important The only guarantee is if you do the genetic testing (Panorama, etc) by which a byproduct is that they can "see" the X and Y chromosomes.

Wow! So, had you already purchased any "girl" baby items and now have to exchange them?
Hi I didn't buy anything yet but my family is really excited and my friend I got lots of clothes for girl. I'm kinda confused because I told my doctor what happened. She told me that my 1st Ultrasound tech won't give any result if his not pretty sure that my baby is female. So I'm confused who I believe my 1st Ultrasound or my 3d ultrasound. Pls help me.Need an advice I get stress.

You have conflicting opinions, but you'll know for sure in three months. What is there to stress about?

Agree with @KonaCoffeeBean - just chalk it up to "inconclusive" U/S results and wait until you give birth - it's really not a big deal. You aren't going to be able to be confident in the sex of your baby at this point given that you have two conflicting results so there is no point in stressing over it (although I'm sure it's annoying). Plenty of people who aren't Team Green get to the Anatomy Scan only to find that the baby isn't in the right position for the tech to make an assessment and they end up being forced to be on Team Green so you're in good company.
