Anyone else feel just SICK!?!

Every since I hit the third trimester, I've been dizzy, sooo nauseated, no energy/motivation, daily headaches, and sore/tender "bump" that makes it hard for me to get up and walk from sitting or laying down and hard to turn over in bed because of the soreness! Anybody else feel this way!?!

  • @backwoodsbarbie2k15 u don't have much longer to go!!! I'm 27wks and 2 days #-o Feels like time is dragging by!!! Yeh I def don't wanna go thru 12 1/2 more wks of this! Miserable! If I had to work thru this, I'd be in trouble!! I see all these other women enjoying their pregnancies and not sick and I'm thinking OF COURSE I cldnt be one of the lucky ones!!! I hope it gets better for the both of us soon!!!
  • 30 weeks 6 days also!! And also feeling like pure shit since 3rd trimester. Tired, nauseous off and on all day, tender bump, sleeping like crap, and 24/7 sciatica pain. Glad I'm not the only one feeling this way.

9 more weeks.... Sounds like an eternity.
  • Oh yes! I am extremely exhausted. Dealing with bad cramping, sore hips, and insomnia. I feel like I haven't slept in days. Making my 10hr wk days really rough
  • Glad I'm not alone!! I'm a FTM and I neverrrr thought being pregnant would be soooooo miserable!! My husband is already talking about having another after this one! =; I've been in bed all day today with a migraine, dizziness and just don't even feel like moving! Omgahhhhh May CANT come soon enough!!!!!!!
  • Girl, yes. I'm 30 weeks also and I feel like absolute rubbish! Even rolling from side to side hurts sometimes because of my belly. I've sort of lost my appetite for the most part, and could probably lie in bed all day if that didn't make me feel crappy too... Ugh. I really don't know how I can deal with the rest of the pregnancy. Heartburn can kiss my ass too...

  • @CrystalEve12, me too girl!! No appetite and I feel like shit even layn in bed too!!! Heartburn only once so far tho! But the rest of these symptoms def make up for the heartburn!! OMG I feel UGHHHHH!!!!
  • 27.5 weeks and have felt like pure crap all week. Back aches, tired, cramps. I'm afraid to see what happens when I get into the third tri!
  • DH makes fun of me because on top of heartburn I also have terrible indigestion. I am burping NON STOP, it's disgusting. I don't remember my first pregnancy being this way. I had heartburn, but I was never this uncomfortable. I'm about to make the decision to make this baby my last because I want to DIEEEEEEEEEE. Obviously I'm being super dramatic, but what's pregnancy without a little drama and emotions?!

  • 30w6d here too! Nausea, dizzy, headaches, no appetite and when I am hungry I overeat then feel worse and sometimes throw up! The last tri has definitely been challenging so far and 9 weeks seems like forever! Vent over...glad I'm not alone!
  • Ahhhh, so I'm not just being a baby about it. I kept feel like I was just being a wimp because I hear all these other woman talk about how great they feel and how they love being pregnant.
I'm just like.. Screw you lady.
My whole back hurts, constant pressure under my belly, my legs hurt, my hips hurt, I feel nauseous, and constantly sleepy! Add all of that and working 8-9 hours a day on my feet the whole time. I'm about to shoot someone.
I told my husband I'm done after this one. I don't like it. I'm so darn uncomfortable and I'm only 28 weeks!!
  • Meeeee!!!! I've been having awful back pains since 24 weeks. But right as I hit 27 weeks last week I got the most excruciating awful back pain I could ever imagine! I went to the hospital it was so bad I really thought it would have been back labor starting up. Or a kidney stone. They ruled both out and chalked it up to severe muscle spasms!! I know I sound super wimpy but they were literally the worst pain I've ever felt. I was screaming from the pain!! The nurses told my DH I sounded like someone going through childbirth without pain medication... it was that bad and lasted 2 days!! Numerous doses of morphine didn't even take away the pain. (Side note: I was concerned about the morphine effecting LO but was in the l&d ward and they assured it would be fine). After 2 days of constant awful back spasms it finally let up enough to be discharged from the hospital and sent home with medication. My back took another 3 days to let up and even then hurt something awful. Now the pain has come down a bunch but still is a daily struggle. I'm assuming I'll be dealing with this until after birth. :( it's scary to think!!

Not to mention how completely out of breath I get and how hard it is to get the days started. :D Today my heart raced for 2 hours after I woke anytime I tried to get up and do something. I did have a doctors appointment today and my blood pressure and everything is fine. I don't know why my body acts up the way it does.
  • I had back problems before I was pregnant, but surprisingly it's hasn't been as bad as I expected. UNTIL today. My back has hurt all day, if this continues can a pregnancy massage help? Or a cirapractor? Or will the rest of my pregnancy consist of this with no relief?
  • I feel everyone's pain!! I don't have a backache really, my stomach being sore/tender bothers me more! My heart has raced all am and headache has already started. I'm 35 yrs old, FTM and I'm started to think I'm too old for this!! :-?
  • Oh yes!!!!!! I feel nauseated 24/7, dragging my butt and just have an overall icky feeling. Amino iron pills helped a little and so does eating very small but frequent meals
  • @Ash1103 I've been thinkn about trying iron pills to see if it'd help w my dizziness??
  • I'm just tired of being tired, I'm 27 weeks and i feel like I could sleep for ages. Also, the heartburn is a pain in the butt, and when I think I'm walking fast, it's actually slow lol, what used to take 20 mins at a decent pace now takes 30 minutes. Oh well, I'm looking forward to meeting the little one that is causing me this grief lol, I'm sure more symptoms will come deeper in the third trimester. :)
  • @tots325 I have to take naps religiously!!! It's part of my everyday routine!! :)
  • Same here! 30 weeks 5 days. I feel like crap! Nauseous, exhausted, heartburn, sore, can't get comfortable, can't sleep. I just keep telling myself .... 9 weeks ...9 weeks! I want her to stay in and bake as long as she can! I am just ready to have her in my arms.

  • @blankenbakerh u are def not alone! I'm almost 28 wks and I feel like I still have FOREVER to go!! I've had the worst headache since Tues and I think it's causing me to be even more dizzy!! I called my OB last nite and she said drink more water and take Tylenol! NOT WORKING!!!
  • Ever since I entered the third trimester, I've felt the same! So exhausted, not feling well, terrible heart burn, etc. good luck to us all!
  • @BabyShirah I totally understand. Have they checked your iron? I was extremely dizzy, with headaches and even passed out. Turns out my iron was really low and I needed supplements. It's one reason I feel so exhausted all the time , although the iron supplements are helping with that now. Might be worth asking.

  • @blankenbakerh I was in the hospital about a month ago and they did tons of bloodwork! Do u think that's something they would have checked? Or maybe not since I was being treated for a Kidney Infection. I just assumed they would have done a complete blood work up but maybe not. May need to ask OB. Still have headache and extremely dizzy today :-S
  • @BabyShirah When I passed out and was taken to the ER they did check my iron levels..... And they came back low but did not say anything to me!!! They sent my labs to my general practitioner and not my OB. My general practitioner did tell me that my iron was a little low but did not prescribe iron supplements. When I went back to my OB and explained what had happened and how I had been feeling she ordered her own labs. My iron came back low again and she put me on the supplements which I think have helped a great deal! I take them with food so they won't make me nauseous. I would maybe ask your OB if they checked your iron when you were in. If not you could ask the OB of its possible your iron is low and making you feel bad. In the meantime you can try eating extra leafy greens like spinach and adding extra iron into your diet that way. Hope you feel better! I know feeling like that is rough.

  • @blankenbakerh yes it is rough!! Today has been really bad. Been in bed most of the day because of the dizziness. Head just feels funny! My OB told me at my last appt to take an iron supplement but I hadn't had any bloodwork done at that time. Just a precaution I guess because at that point, I wasn't having any problems with dizziness or headaches. I'm really off balance and sway when I'm standing. I just want to feel better! :/
  • Before I started taking the iron supplements I was horribly dizzy!!! My BP was out of whack, my pulse was higher, and I was exhausted. It wasn't all due to my low iron but partly because of it. After I passed out I increased my daily water intake , made sure to eat more often ( I have low blood sugar). Those things helped but I still felt off. About a week after I started the iron supplements I finally felt somewhat normal again. My OB told me I was anemic and from what I have read it can cause issues when pregnant. It can cause issues anytime but they are I guess exaggerated in pregnancy. My OB called me in prescription iron pills. I am sure you could get them over the counter but I am not sure how much is safe to take during pregnancy. I would ask the pharmacist or your OB about that before you start taking them. Your OB should be able to prescribe you some if they check and your anemic.

  • @blankenbakerh I feel the same way!! Hafta take a nap daily, head feels outta which along with the dizziness and headaches, my heart races on and off throughout the day, and I feel shaky and nauseous. Something has def gotta give. I can't take 12 more wks of this :(
  • I understand! I would definitely talk to the OB about it. Ask about your iron levels. In the meantime try increasing water, limit bad "sugars", try eating fruit like apples and such. Increase your protein and leafy greens. Hope you feel better!
