Finally had my first appt today!

this is the appt I should have had a month ago. Man, they sure swamped me with a LOT of info and stuff to read. Got a pap, then an U/S - my first one that wasn't via dildocam! Baby looks so good and is actually recognizable as a baby now! So much different from my u/s only 2 weeks ago!

Now this weekend, I have to collect my urine for 24 hours (and you should see the lovely contraption they gave me for that), and also do that glucose drinky test, and a shitload of bloodwork. Fun times ahead

Oh, and I had to spend $50 for a blood pressure monitor since I now have to check 3x's a day, and I apparently have a yeast infection that I was totally unaware of.

I now have only 6 days to get in for the NT scan if I want it.

I'm glad that so far I've managed to escape the 24 hour urine collection. The thought of pee in my fridge does not make me happy.

nope not diabetic - but being over 35 this is apparently one of the things they watch closer. I'm also getting appts starting in Feb every 2 - 4 weeks.
