Pamper sensitive wipes stink??

So I asked my husband to stop by the store to get some more wipes. I've always used the huggies one and done and i love them! He knows I have sensitive skin and just thought the pampers sensitive was a good choice because he didn't see the huggies that didn't have a scent. however, when i opened a pack they smell HORRIBLE! Has anyone else noticed this? He bought a 3 pack of the travel wipes if that makes a difference...

    Weird! I've never noticed that they smell bad. I work in a pediatric ICU and that's what we use...

    I'm not familiar with the huggies wipes I've always used pampers sensitive so I have nothing to compare them to! I never noticed a smell though

    I've never used them so I don't know if all smell like this. I don't really know how to explain the smell other than just a strong chemical smell maybe.. I checked date on them thinking maybe they were old or something.. i have no clue but date is dec. 2015 so that's not the case.

    I opened the other two packs and they don't smell like the first packed i opened.. idk just kinda weird to me.. i threw away that one pack

    Yea, they shouldn't smell. Weird.

    This is kinda gross, so I'll give you fair warning... One time I accidentally left some target brand sensitive wipes in my car for almost a week in the summer and one day I opened my car door and it smelled like yogurt... Super gross! Couldn't figure out why until I found the thing of wipes jammed under the seat- I couldn't toss those things out fast enough!! Maybe something similar happened to the wipes at the store and they were stored somewhere too hot for too long?

    They use the pampers sensitive in the nicu and I've never noticed them not smelling good.
