Sooooo itchy!

Anyone have any good recommendations for a good body lotion. My belly, butt and thighs are so itchy lately. Thanks !

Re: Sooooo itchy!

  • I've been using cocoa butter but nothing works! Even my boobs itch!

  • I use Burts Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter, love it! :)
  • I use Alba Cocoa Butter lotion. It is incredible and helps the itchiness! ;)
  • I use Aveeno
  • I use sugar scrubs and they help me more than anything else!!
  • I use mama mio. They have one for your legs, one for your boobs, and one for your tummy! Love it!
  • I use cocoa butter like 5 times a day bc I am afraid of stretch marks and my stomach never itches. They're itching because they're stretching. If that doesn't work for you I love aveeno products (expensive but very helpful) or jergens lotions.
  • I've been using coconut oil but it only helps temporarily!

Me too. I had to order a second tub today. im getting dangerously low.
  • Dream cream from Lush!
  • I love the "True Blue Spa" line from Bath and Body works. Many of their lotions have paraffin in them which keeps moisture close to the skin and helps to relieve itching and dry skin. =)

  • I am going to have to second the B&BW statement from @GSUDavis. I use anything from them and it helps.  My favorite is the good ol' classic Warm Vanilla Sugar and it helps me all day. Other than that, I like Aveeno.
  • I live in Canada and had to go on amazon to get some mama bee belly butter from Burts bees because I'd only ever heard good things. Let me tell you how amazing it is! My skin has never felt quite like this. It's just lovely and so far
  • So far I have been using palmers skin therapy oil on my boobs, belly & bum. I use cocoa butter lotion on the rest of my body and sometimes on top of the oil too if I'm feeling especially dry! Seems to be doing the trick so far, but I've heard lots of good things about the burts bees mama bee belly butter so I'm curious to try that sometime!
  • I make a homemade sugar scrub that I use every time I shower. I have dry skin that is normally horrible in the winter, and it has not been bad at all thanks to this.

    1c white sugar
    1/2c coconut oil
1/3c carrier oil (I use olive or sunflower)

    For scents I like
1-2T of vanilla and 15 drops of peppermint
    OR
15 drops lavender and 15 drops of lemon

This is WAY cheaper than buying scrubs from all the bath/body shops.

  • I have to use Nivea intense hydration and Burt's bees belly butter and I am still itchy!!! I also use dove intense moisture body wash in the show that helps some.

As much as i like B&BW I need a thicker lotion. I am jealous of those who can use their lovely scents :)

  • I use coconut oil but I'm still itchy, don't know if anything actually stops this.
  • Aveeno lavender stress relief. Or coconut oil
  • My neck looks like I have hives ! I have two dry skin patches and even the best lotion is not helping. My face isnt dry, so I don't know what is going on w my body :(
  • I have some eczema and I'm using a combination of Sarna sensitive and Eucerin eczema Creme
  • Coconut oil helps with my itching

I look like I have hives in the valley between my boobs. :( I feel so gross, I've never had this issue before except when I was actually having an allergic reaction to a cat but even then it had spread all over my neck and chest but not to my boobs...
  • Any of ya'll try aquafor? It helps with eczema and sores from itching. It feels gross for a little bit. But I used it with both pregnancies. I haven't used it with this one as I'm out. But it's amazing stuff.
  • I also use it to heal my tattoos!
