  I got diagnosed about two months ago. I'm still waiting for a referral to a doctor though....in the high risk board there are other posts for GD as well. Hope your situation goes better then mine!

  I have to do my test next week still but basing my current levels compared to my last 2 pregnancies, I'm pretty sure I will test as having GB as well.

  I had my glucose test early at 18 weeks due to being overweight and failed so badly I didn't have to do the 3 hour test, ultimately it has come to me having to give myself insulin at nighttime. At first I was upset and then with time I came to terms with it. I figure if its best for the baby then I'm fine with it. I haven't had any weight gain with my pregnancy and I have been eating better than I have in a long time. My doctor explained it as nothing I was doing wrong just my body and my placenta were dueling it out over my blood sugar and my placenta won. Good luck!

  I have mine in 3 weeks. I had it with my first. I didn't need insulin, but had to take gliboride (spelling???). I still had trouble keeping it under control and DSs sugar dropped about an hour after he was born and we had some issues getting him stable for about 36 hours.

  Do your best to eat right and keep your blood sugar stable. I went back to normal immediately after delivery. Hope the next couple months go fast...I know it is a bummer, but better to know so you can do something about it. Just take it a day at a time--I know it is lame, but it is about all you can do.
