  • Could you try some flavored sparkling water? Maybe it would help your craving without upsetting your stomach.
  • I put lemon juice (the type you use for baking) in sparkling water. Keeps the nausea at bay.
  • Thank you ladies.. I will definitely try sparkling water.. I need something new to drink.. Water has NEVER been my favorite but it has been lately seeing that's the only thing I can drink..

I'm kinda backwards here! I quit drinking soda almost a year ago. I used to drink lots of mt dew, Dr pepper, even the energy drinks (I was really hooked on monster!) For the last year I have had almost no caffeine at all. The rare times when I had a soda I would drink sprite, sierra mist, etc... Now 11w2d and I crave the fizziness!! It isn't so much about the caffeine or the sugar or anything. I just want something carbonated, all the time!! I'm trying to limit myself to just one if we go out to eat but mostly just drink water. I'm starting to get to the point where I want to just buy a case of sprite to drink at home. Argh!!!

Eta: fixing what my tablet decided to add for me. That made no sense.
  • So crazy! I am the complete opposite. I NEVER drink soda, and of course since babe the only thing I want EVERY SINGLE DAY is a soda. I definitely haven't indulged the way that I want to, but I am seriously blown away by the way pregnancy affects our bodies!

Why can't I crave avocados, chicken, and water!?!! haha..

  • That's how I am with coffee!!!! It's so frustrating! I just want 1 cup, but my body is like don't even try. :( with my first LO, I had the same problem but by the second trimester I could drink a cup of coffee fine. Hopefully that will happen again. Love me some joe! :)
  • Try the ocean spray sparkling drinks. I've been drinking them occasionally when I need something "soda-ish". It tastes so good but has more natural ingredients
