Conflicted; advice please?

so i just had my baby girl two weeks ago. And i was bleeding moderately heavy. It slowed way down and had stopped for a couple days. But started up again this morning along with pain in my upper abdomin. My blood is like water since i delivered her. It's normally pretty thin to begin with but i dont know if i should call the doctor.
This is my second child and with my first i only bled for three days after my discharge. I know "every baby is different".. The thing is i am on a strict diet and a bunch of vitamins and the blood is like water. Do i call the doctor? Some people have said they bled for 6 weeks. But that it was continuos. Mine started back up after stopping. And im still doing all of my kegals, yoga and pilates.
Advice please.

  • Yes, always call the doctor in a situation like that.

  • Thanks, i asked my mother and she says its "normal". But nothing is "normal" about my family. So I figured that i should ask for advice
  • I would call your doctor or call labor and delivery where you were and ask them. I know with DD when I was discharged they said to call them back if I had any questions and it was after hours or over the weekend.
  • Call your doctor. You don't want to take any chances concerning bleeding.

  • I would call but it is normal for it to stop and then start again. Mine did.

  • Mine has stopped and started again. I'm 2 weeks PP. When it's starts after stopping it's like I'll bleed for 2 hours and it's more like spotting. Then I'll be done for the day. My l&d nurses said it was normal and to expect it. If you're concerned call your doctor.
  • I got told as long as it stays watery it's normal I'm still like it after two weeks
  • meant to say mine has stopped one day and gotten heavier the next! :)
  • Mine is the same way. Stopped for almost a week then started back up. Very watery
