Sex and sex position

They say if you want a girl baby to do girl on top and if you want a boy baby To do doggy style. Is this true for any of you?

    I have no idea what night she was concieved on. We had been trying for a few months, so it was sex very often and usually in different positions.

    We weren't trying, and it only took once. It was just quick missionary, nothing fancy or spectacular.

    We started in missionary and ended with doggie style...wound up with a girl. It is purely chance on which genetic material combines which way. Still, old wives tales are fun. The pendant trick told me I was having a boy and my BIL guessed boy and he was never wrong, WAS being the operative word lol

    I've heard if you are trying for a girl to have sex 4-5 days before ovulation. Girls are slower swimmers so by the time they get to the egg it'll be go time... A boy would swim faster and get to the egg too early.
    And when I say girl or boy I'm talking about sperm.

    Who knows if that's the case but if you're looking for suggestions that one sounds legit

    I have no idea when LO was conceived because we had been trying for two years with no luck. DH and I had a conversation about seeking further treatment in the fall, and it seems as though we got pregnant that night! It was either in a tent or a trailer because we're classy like that.

    Our high school science teacher told us to have vigorous sex for a boy and calmer sex for a girl. How creepy is that? I still can picture him talking to us about it!

    That is super creepy! My middle school phys ed teacher would use her own body to demonstrate where the uterus is found.

    This is so weird. I feel like parents today would have a field trip with this comment!!!

    No clue our positions! We just did it everyday just to make sure it worked!!!

    We had just started trying but only had had unprotected sex two times and one was girl on top and the other doggie style so who knows! lol. Also it was really close to ovulation and we had a boy. The OWT @Amsull324‌ mentioned worked for us and the only one I believe in haha

    I had heard about the positions and so we did only doggy style when TTC #2 bc we wanted a boy. I'm 50% sure it's the reason we had a boy!

    DH swears he knows when we conceived LO because he didn't do his job that night so we did it the next morning and I was on top. I'm not convinced that was the time because we had sex quite a bit since I was ovulating. But whatever, makes him happy to think that.

    I have heard of that whole speed thing. I actually think I remember hearing it in one of my delevopmental biology classes in high school.
