  I had a successful set with my fresh cycle at 37. I just transferred a blast from the same batch (also set) and it failed.
  
  Sets can and do work in the over 35 crowd. You have even better chances with a tested embryo.
  
  I'm going to try another set FET but I will insist on an endometrial scratch to assist implantation.

  FET #1 ET 1 d5 embryo 02/10/15 BFN

  DH :  36, has Chronic Kidney Disease, on dialysis & is waiting on the transplant list (average wait for B+ is 5 years)

  Me:   36, Hypothyroidism, PCOS, BMI 32, need to be done with "child bearing" ASAP so that I can be a Kidney donor (was fun realizing we didn't as much time as we thought :-/ )

  We're TTC#1

  IUI #1 : 5mcg Letrozole (CD 3-7) + Ovidrel Trigger + Had the one follicle = BFN  (March 2014)

  IUI #2 : 5mcg Letrozole (CD 3-7) + 150 iu Bravelle on CD9 (after much begging!) + Had the one follicle = BFN (April 2014)

  7th May 2014 - changed REs, this one seems to care (we think....)

  IUI #3 : 7mcg Letrozole (CD 3- 7) + 75 iu Bravelle (CD 8-12) + CD12 Scan 5/16 + Had 3 follicles (2 under 15mm) = BFN(May 2014)

  IUI #4 : 7mcg Letrozole (CD 3- 7) + 75 iu Bravelle (CD 8-12) + CD12 Scan 5/16 + Had 1 follicle + DH gave best sample so far = BFN(June 2014)

  IVF#1 -  ER Only Cycle Sept-Oct 2014, 17  eggs Retrieved, 14 mature, 10 fertilized, 6 made it to Blast & post PGS  5 were not viable due to chromosomal abnormalities
  Not sure where we go from here...

  We're parents to two very adorable, bratty, affectionate & goofy Bernese Mountain Dog pups who would very much like a 2 legged baby brother or sister of their own!

  At 38 (unexplained IF/RPL), I had 2 PGS-normal snowbabies from 5 blasts and chose SET (to minimize chance of pg complications).  Each PGS-normal blast was given a 60% chance of live birth given my age and embryo grade.  I cautioned myself that it was practically a flip of the coin each time.  I prepared myself emotionally and financially for failure of one (or both) eSETs.  Much to my surprise, the 1st eSET was a live birth.  I am still dumbfounded that the 2nd eSET was a live birth also.  For once the "coin toss" went my way.  Wishing your does too ... sooner than later.  FX, FX.

  2010 IVF-PGS-FET#1, DD b. Aug-2011

  TTC#2 2012 BFNs, 2013 FET#2, DS b. Nov-2013

  I also did a freeze all in October. PGS resulted in 5 normal embies. We transferred one in December and I'm 12 weeks pregnant now. I'm 37.

  TTC Since 01/09
  Unexplained IF
  Clomid cycle 1-3 - BFN IUI 1-3 - BFN 

  IVF 1 - BFP 4/4/11 - It's a boy!

  FET 1 - BFP M/C 6/14

  IVF 2 - 33R/19F 12 PGS resulted in 5 normal embies

  FET 1 scheduled 12/10/14

  Unfortunately I am the flip side to successes like @June0609‌ and @SharonB222‌. I'm over 35 and have had 3 unsuccessful FETs. I may have just been on the short end of luck all 3 times.

  We finally got pregnant on our 5th embryo transfer. We had one embryo freeze from that cycle. That fresh cycle was the month before I turned 32. We just went back for it last summer, 1 month shy of turning 35. It did survive thaw, resulted in a pregnancy, but I miscarried @ 6.5 weeks.

  I am 35. I did a SFET in November that did not stick. However I did a fresh SET in December that did. Currently almost 13 weeks. My RE initially wanted me to put back two since I was over 35, but I was not comfortable with it. We decided if I made blast, we would go with 1..... Good luck to you!

  Thank you. It sure does suck, especially when it seemed everyone else's FET was successful.
  
  Due to some very serious family health issues, I am not considering transferring my lone remaining embryo until late summer.
