anyone not hungry?

6w4d and I'm no stranger to eating but I'm so not hungry lately... I'm bloated and almost am forcing myself to eat. Anyone else?

  • Same here. 6w2d and nothing tastes good anymore. I eat because I think "well, the baby's hungry". Eating has become a chore rather than a joy >,>

  • I have zero appetite also; 6w6d... nothing appeals to me; just drinking lots of water and eating really small meals throughout the day...
  • yeah, the intestinal troubles I've been having have made it hard to eat much or feel like it often. Just have to force myself to eat a little something every now and again else have to worry about nausea.

  • YES!! EVERYTHING taste so bad! Only thing that's satisfying is cereal.
  • Not much of an appetite here. I hardly eat through out the day but I force myself to eat at least something small. Hope this no appetite stage goes away because I love food and I do miss it lol
  • lol, at 5 weeks I was hungry all the time, so this is def. a change!

  • Yup same here no appetite at all. I force myself to eat. The only thing that is appealing to me is cereal too!

  • I'm 6w4d and I can't eat!!!! Food smells bad, tastes bad, just doesn't appeal to me. No nausea.... But I feel forced to eat and I'm so bloated
  • I'm 8 weeks 3days and have no interest in eating. It's been this way for several weeks now. I think I even lost weight. I finally stared to feel bloated about a week ago. The thought of food just makes me feel sick even thought I haven't been sick yet. I'm trying to eat little healthy portions. I'm a little over weight so I find it a blessing. I'm assuming as time goes on I'll start to get more hungry. But for now I hate the feeling but happy bc I could afford not to eat.
  • Sometimes I feel starved but 2 minutes later, I'm not hungry at all. Also in the same boat as you ladies as far as nothing sounding good. Most times I just have to make myself eat because I know the baby needs the nutrients. It's so weird. Even if I eat something I'm craving, it's not satisfying by the time I actually eat it. It'll sound good the whole time I'm making it or goin to get it, and then, it just loses it's appeal.
  • Same here. I can eat once a day and I'm good.
  • Not hungry at all which is very unusual for me. Doc recommend 6 small meals a day instead of 3 larger ones. She said the most important nutrient to eat is protein because the babies will get most other nutrients from the prenatal vitamins.

    Me too! Dr said to drink LOTs of fluids, eat fruits, & veggies to stay hydrated and less constipated. The muscles tend to lose water so stay hydrated so you don't get cramps! I am craving a hotdog & hamburger!
  • Glad I'm not alone. I just ordered a waffle cause it looked so good but then took a few bites and was full-- sheesh
  • My stomach growls a lot but everything just sounds gross to me! I am kinda stuck on cereal and mashed potatoes ( not together lol). I bought protein cereal to help with protein. Some days I have a great appetite and other days I just want random cravings. I am I'm a constant state of ick and feel bloated all the time.... After I eat, I regret it because I feel so yucky. This is baby 2 for me and I did not have this problem the first time.
  • Omg! 7weeks here, I havent eaten much in the last 2 weeks cause either nothing sounds appetizing or im to nauseous!
  • Haven't had an appetite since about 4 weeks. I am 7 weeks now. Not really having any morning sickness but nothing sounds appealing and just not really hungry. Forcing myself to eat small amounts regularly.
  • I'm 6w2d and all I can eat right now are granola bars and saltine crackers. I just have no desire to eat anything! Everything I look at to eat smells funny, looks funny, and just makes me sick. Going to the doctor Tuesday and hopefully she can tell me what to do about it!!
  • I am definitely in that boat! 5w3d I keep feeling my blood sugar drop and I get the shakes and I know I need to eat... I start eating and I get to a quarter of what I used to eat for a portion and that's it. I'm already not hungry and I feel so full so fast - not sure if it's the bloating. I'm also getting severe gas pain once I start eating and can't continue. I'm nervous because I'm tracking caloric intake and I'm no where near I need to be
