Help Please

Hey ladies , I'm 9 weeks and 5 days , so yesterday I tripped and fell on my knees and hands didn't hit my stomach or fall on my stomach just skinned my knee pretty bad . Tonight like twice I have had this pinching sharp shooting pain on my left side of my back that shoots down to my butt . Do you think I could have pulled something .?

    It sounds like that is a definite possibility! Put some ice where the pain is originating and take tylenol to reduce inflammation. Take it easy for the next few days, I hope you get to feeling better!

    Sounds like sciatic nerve pain- really common during pregnancy, the fall could have caused you to stretch or move things in a funny way which irritated your sciatica or its just a coincidence and you just happened to have some sciatica happening unrelated to the fall.

    Either way, I wouldn't be too worried. There are some stretches you can do that will help, I also had some success with previous pregnancies by getting am adjustment at the chiropractor. Try googling sciatic nerve pain during pregnancy and relief and I'm sure you'll find some things to try.
