Hi! Just wondering if there is a Facebook group for June 2015 Mommas?? A couple of my friends joined groups and are still in touch with the moms 2 years later!

Not really 100% sure, I wasn't in the fb group. It was either a catfish or someone from the fb group coming onto TB and talking shit about fb group, or some other such nonsense.

It was closed to new members when TB drama went down. We didn't want any of the people who left here or were banned to join just because they got kicked out of here! No drama in the group itself.

Maybe there are multiple groups? I'm not a part of the one @mommyof3tooooobe‌ is apparently in (or any other, for that matter) so, for all I know, what she's saying could be true. But I remember the catfish thing that @finchfeeder80‌ is talking about. That caused a HUGE blow up on here.

Actually she made a HUGE deal here when you guys were on FB. I remember her. Was she a catfish??? She was active here and said the FB group was only for bashing us that stayed on TB.

I dont have FB so I can't confirm that end.

This is what happens when Facebook is even mentioned. No way am I giving out my personal info. Unfortunately, for every wonderful bumpy, there is a nasty one. There are some that have even stolen identities, pretended to raise funds for bumpies in need and kept it, etc. I ain't got time for dat!! I was sad to never join my O13 board but I just won't give out my full name.

I'm part of the Facebook group, and we closed it to new members when the drama with the bump went down. Yes, part of it was because of someone who was a member of both that mistakenly mentioned that Facebook people were bashing the bump, which we weren't. Everyone who is a part of the Facebook group is supportive, and there is zero drama. Just support. No one has asked us for money or done anything I'm uncomfortable with. And with my privacy settings, none of them can see my pictures, walls of personal information.

Actually I don't know who she is... so there's that. I also made no point of keeping who I was secret. I like to think I'm way smarter than to keep my signature line and avatar if I truly wanted to be incognito. It's just ridiculous that it was okay to be lurker previously because people were scared of the mean girls but now if someone is lurking it's BECAUSE they are mean girl? and it's thought of as bad (or common sense, as you put, that she should banned for lurking?) Please, give me a break lady.

I'm more than a little horrified here - it's not like she was trolling the boards, she just expressed an opinion that one user's characterization of something that happened a while back wasn't accurate with her recollection. I agree that it was pretty clear that she had left TB and rejoined with a new username but you have no idea under what circumstances she previously left (maybe she was banned, maybe she left of her own volition but wanted to see if things had gotten better around here and decided to rejoin) - there are a number of possibilities. You have been here long enough to know that TB admins are banhammer happy and really not interested in using any modicum of common sense when deciding who to ban so WHY would you report someone who posted such a benign comment? Not cool, man.

So because I called her out I reported her?!?! Umm no! What's laughable is that she hasn't made a single comment on a single thread until she wanted to call someone a liar. If she or anyone else wants to come here and call us liars when all they do is "lurk" then yes it's a problem. If anyone wants to get butthurt over something like that I could care less. If she had been involved in day to day conversation or even posted a few supportive words no one would care if she popped up again. She hasn't though and if she wants to cause problems there's no need for her here. Anyone who isn't offended by a person coming here just to call out a person who is involved and does contribute to our CURRENT community horrifys me! She has no business here if she isn't going to contribute more than a smart ass comment.

Actually no I didn't! If you read it again you can see I was being sarcastic! I even said that I didn't need to report her in other places. I made it clear that I didn't have to report someone else picked up on what she was doing.

Can people just stop whining about the people who left? I don't get why people who are so heart broken about people freely choosing to leave... Either move on or join them in their new community... Hope they found happiness there and maybe you can too.
