Hahaha JUST KIDDING!

So, my baby shower got cancelled because my SO sisters threw a fit about his grandma throwing us one. I'm not upset or mad it's cancelled, the reasons why it got cancelled is what bothers me. One of his sisters is due in July with her second, she's got a little boy who is 3, and is now due with a girl. She feels like she should get another shower... His other sister delivered in dec, and before her shower, well her mom never made the effort to put something together for after the baby was born, so she feels like it's not fair we get one and she didn't, and his step sister throws a fit anytime the mom and I do something and makes snarky comments like well you may as well just adopt her, she's got a 2 yr old son and had a HUGE shower but when the mom brought up helping plan mine she told her that her son will just have to go somewhere else that weekend because she couldn't possibly watch him and help plan a shower... I really don't understand why they can't just be happy? My boyfriend is beyond pissed at his sisters for acting this way an making me feel like I'm causing some sort of drama in the family. My shower was also goin to be the first time that whole side of the family has gotten together since the death of my boyfriends mom, and I'd get to meet everyone. Sorry I just needed to vent.

    You do not deserve that! You should get your baby shower! I am so sorry to hear this.. Maybe your family can still get together before you deliver your baby and have a party to celebrate you and your little one.

    We live 12 hours away from my family so we won't see my family before she's born. I'm not too upset about not having a shower since I didn't plan on having one when we decided to move not having friends or fam here lol I'm just so baffled as to why his sisters have to act like that. It's not like I'm a baby mama or something who causes tons of drama or hurts their brother.

    Luckily we didn't plan on a shower so we've got most everything. His gma did say she was sorry and since the shower is cancelled she will give us the money she planned on spending on the shower so we can go shopping for baby
