Coping with the 'Male Factor'

I am new to the bump message boards but could really use some support and thought this would be a great way. I have been TTC for 18 months and after going through the first rounds of fertility testing, we have found out that my husband is the cause. Low count, motility and an alarming 0% morphology. Our doctor says this is likely genetic and not due to lifestyle. My husband will be going to a Urologist soon for further testing but it looks like IUI or IVF may be the only ways we will conceive. However, with such poor sperm quality I am wondering if those procedures have much success when the issue is the male factor. I'd love to hear anyone else's story and if they had success when dealing with these issues. I am also dealing with the sadness that we may never conceive if using his sperm. While I know it is not his fault, I can't help but feel anger & frustration. Within one day of getting our most recent sperm analysis test results, my hopes for family seem to be dwindling.

Looking for any support/thoughts you have!
