Friday Randoms...

Don't have to work today because snow/freezing rain is in the forecast but I'm up anyway since we didn't find out till super early this morning.

Another random....seems like everyone around me is pregnant all of a sudden. One of my bridesmaids just told us she was expecting in August! And two groomsmen just got surprises as well. On top of that, two more of my good friends have announced they are expecting. My LO will have many friends at her 1st bday party next year!

    We find out if this little bean I am carrying around is a boy or a girl!!!!! I am soooo excited!!! I couldn't sleep at all last night and had a million dreams about finding out but never which gender it was. I am literally counting down the minutes!

    @kacdanz I have that exact same thing going on! I have 3 good friends also expecting this year, 2 due in May and one also in July. And then a few coworkers are also expecting! It must be a good year for babies! 

    Today is the one day a week when DH has nothing on his schedule. He's a full-time student and never has Friday classes. So I asked him to come have lunch with me today.. but he has a man date with a friend from school to go get coffee.. over the lunch hour.. :/ I'm trying really hard to not be annoyed by this cuz the man needs some new friends but seriously, couldn't they have coffee earlier or later? who does coffee over lunch?! I was just hoping to get to spend some extra time with DH as he has been incredibly busy all week and I miss having him to myself :( stupid man dates.

    I'm pissed off because my brother's fiancé decided she wanted to quit her job, with no new job lined up, and "help" my brother at his job and he will pay her. My brother drives a small truck and makes local deliveries to stock grocery and dollar stores. They both live at my parents house and he has been helping mom financially since Dad died in December. His girl has only been around since last summer and moved in with them RENT FREE in November and they're already engaged. I mean, if you feel its right then I guess time doesn't matter and that's fine but I'm really not happy about her quitting her job just because she doesn't "feel like" doing it any more.  Her plan is to cover for her sister when she is out on maternity leave which is May/June....then what? And they want to get married next July. So she's going to mooch off my brother until she "finds a new job" ... I've been really trying to give this chick the benefit of the doubt for awhile now, because it isn't easy for me to accept these new women easily...I'm too protective I guess. But I let my brother know that I felt it was irresponsible of her and I didn't think this was a smart decision, and now he is mad at me. Which I expected. I really don't like this bitch.

    My psycho cats new favorite game is to come to bed with us and attack our feet every singe time we move them. He does this all night long and I move a lot. Its 8:45 am and he's still on the bed attacking me. I think he's on crack.

    That's BS! I would be pissed but there's not much you can do about it and if they do get married your stuck with her for a while.

    @claudia3059 - I'm a little upset...err.. I won't lie - I'm pissed.... because I don't like my family to be taken advantage of and I don't like this bitch living in what used to also be my house, rent free mooching off my brother and turning MY old bedroom into a pig sty and not doing anything else around the house. I let him know how  I felt about it, and that I thought it was a stupid and irresponsible decision for her and/or them to make. He's mad, she's mad too. My mom is also probably pissed because they're all butt buddies now and I'm the black sheep. I told him that he can be mad, I expected him to be. When he is done being mad, he knows where to find me. So today I'm not talking to any of them. They can come to me. *shrug*

    I have this horrible head cold..... chills, light fever, and I have no voice... called the dr to get an appointment and they tell me they can see me on tuesday of next week... REALLY?!?!?!

    So flipping pissed right now and I just want a little relief so I can sleep, because honey andlemon are no longer helping at all!!!

    We also find out today and I had a ton of dreams last night. None of them led to which sex baby is. Which a little odd because other dreams I've had have led me to the sex of the baby. I hope time goes fast for you and good luck today!

    @ThisMakes5‌ did you call your OB or a regular doctor? My OB is so cool about letting us come unexpectedly if not feeling well.

    @ThisMakes5‌ so glad to hear that! I was miserably sick about 4 weeks ago and decided I preferred my OB to give me meds and not a regular doctor. So they got me in within the hour!

    Two words: spray bottle. We give our kitty a spray of water if he misbehaves. Just have good aim or your bed sheets will get wet. ;-)

    Back from Dr. I have a viral infection, so she told me to take musinex for two days then take claratin D for three days. More than likely it will last a week or more.

    Waiting on hubby to get home with our new mattress so I can sleep!!

    Okay so DH did his whole man date thing.. and now its all Will said this and Will said that and oh yea Will told me to check this thing out and its super awesome.. Okay seriously. Maybe its because its the end of the day and I am just running out of patience but come on! I wish he would listen to me half as attentively as he just did some guy he just started hanging out with! I think DH is a little too perceptive to other people's opinions/beliefs/thoughts/etc... and I may freak out if he keeps telling me how great Will is... I need a girls night.

    @akopitzke‌ sounds like he's excited to have a new friend. My husband is the same way...in my opinion he really doesn't have great friends so he always seems desperate or overly excited when he meets a potential friend. It's annoying as hell to me but I try to keep my mouth shut.

    @kacdanz my hubby has like 2 really good guy friends. One just moved to FL and the other is recently married and spends most his free time with his wife. So poor hubby doesn't get to have many play dates lol. I am trying hard to be supportive. Maybe its just the damn hormones but I can't seem to help feeling annoyed! I'm worried I'll snap at him when I get home if he keeps talking about his new buddy. I need a new buddy :/ lol!

    My little boy had hiccups for the first time last night. They werent subtle either. My first son had them all the time but never this strong. They kept me awake for probably 20 minutes. I wont lie, I secretly loved it. Love feeling my little man move all over the place! I definitely missed that feeling

    Just had Chinese food. Was craving it since last night. Yum yum!! Wish I could take a nap now but I know my LO will wake up as soon as I start to fall asleep. :/

    I keep eating baby bell cheese. I could eat a whole bag in one sitting, someone needs to hide them from me!!

    My little girl had them for the first time last night too. I was like what the hey hey.. That lasted for about 10 mins then I got my first bout of braxton hicks, that was odd seeing my tummy contract just above my belly button..

    My little one had hiccups during his a/s. It was so amazing watching and feeling him jump.
