Hi everyone!
I had my first altrasound yesterday. Today I am 7 weeks. They were able to find the heartbeat yesterday which has me feeling much better as I have been cramping for the last few weeks (no bleeding). Is it true that the risk of miscarriage decrease when the heart beat is confirmed?
Re: does the risk miscarriage go down once you see a heartbeat?
However, if someone has heard something to the contrary, please correct me if I'm wrong.
Also, I really like this website that @CaitLewis15 posted yesterday: https://spacefem.com/pregnant/mc.php?m=01&d=09&y=15
That being said, the risk of miscarriage goes way down after 12-13 weeks, and for me, it was definitely reassuring to see a baby and hear a heartbeat at my last appointment (7w, 1d). At this point I know the baby has implanted, started growing, and has a working heart.
