Feeling all the feelings

I do not remember being this moody with my last pregnancy. I feel like I flip way easier than ever before and stressful situations send me over the top much after than ever. I'm a manager dealing with some stressful workplace issues right now and feel like I can't keep my emotions in check some days. Any advice??

  • I don't know much about pregnancy being a FTM, but when I'm stressed I'm way more reactive and emotional. What I do to "get back to my center" is increase me self care. So walking, warm baths, a good meal, and if I'm really jammed up I just free write everything that's on my mind. Sometimes getting it all on paper and in black & white I can step away from the emotions and get a new perspective. And sometimes I just need a good cry or meet a friend for coffee and vent. I guess I would say is take a moment and get quiet and figure out what you need right now.

  • Try to figure out a way to get your bad energy out. When I am super stressed, I usually need to go in a room by myself (headphones work too if this is not possible) and I draw. Drawing is like therapy to me just as writing or baking can be therapy to others.
