Baby is Low

Does anyone feel like their baby is super low? I never feel DS above my belly button and feel like there is pressure in my vagina. I'm sure it is no cause for concern. My appointment was canceled this week because of snow or I would have brought it up to my doctor just to be sure. Just curious if anyone else is experiencing this?

Re: Baby is Low

  • I feel my baby super low too. It feels like its feet are near my pubic bone.

  • I'm 22 weeks and I only feel her below my belly button. That's exactly where they should be at this point.
  • Thanks, ladies! At our ultrasound at 19.5 weeks, he was resting on my pelvic bone. He hasn't moved much higher in the last 4 weeks. I'm just hoping he moves up. lol. Or else, I will probably be a waddler.
  • Just dropping by to put a plug in for Internet safety, OP may I suggest you change your display name? Found you pretty easily with a Google search... just saying
  • It won't really let me. I was unaware you couldn't change it once you created one. That's mainly why I'm a lurker, not a commenter. I'll likely be deleting my account soon. @thepalindromicone Thanks for the heads up, though!

  • If you started with the knot you have to change it there and log out of everything and then it sticks.... I had my account name show up when TB f'ed up recently with privacy setting

I'm 22 weeks and feel my daughter above my belly button not by much but definitely above it.
  • Based on the chart, my baby feels like he's between the 12 and 16 week point. lol. If anyone wants to feel him kick, it is going to be pretty awkward for the both of us. Thankfully only my husband has asked.
  • Ask your doctor at your next appointment, but like I said, my baby is still low and my doctor said its fine, I asked last time :)
  • My kiddo and my placenta are both lying low. Neither are of any concern for my doc. It's killing my hips but I think he's fine.

Hey my appt was canceled too this week bc of snow! I live near florence ky but drive to cincinnati for my appts at christ. I also expirence a lot of pressure and they always find her heartbeat really low under belly button. They have never said anything about it but that's one thing I was going to discuss at my apt that got canceled.
  • Living in ky too. Ftm and up until about 2 weeks ago didn't feel movement above my belly button. Now I do but it's few and far between. I am 25w 1 day. I think l.o. is finally streching out since s/he is growing a few inches the past few weeks.
  • I'm 25 weeks and I mostly feel baby boy really low. Creates a lot of achyness and pressure for me down low and my hips are killing me! I've just recently started to feel a few jabs above my belly button.
  • 25 weeks tomorrow. He is training to be a ninja!!! Everything below the belly button. At 18-20 weeks he was pointy punching me down stairs and I kept jumping out of my seat! There are some serious nerves!!! Haha recently I felt a punch up at my mid line, but I think he's just a low rider for the most part. Won't stop moving tonight!!! My appt this week was cancelled due to weather as well... They wanted me to wait 2weeks to get back in. At that rate why have a 24 week appt?!!
  • My baby is also low. My MD. Is aware not cause for concern just uncomfortable..
