blood for the past couple weeks

At 7w I spotted just a pink one time when I wiped. They did a vaginal u/s and found heart beat. Then at 8w I spotted again a light pink when wiping. Did u/s sac intact. Now at 9w2d I have having a bloody mucus slim. It lasted all night and stopped this morning. I dont know whether to call doc or not. I have been three times in the past two weeks. This is my second pregnancy but the first was almost 8 yrs ago and I never bleed like this. Advice?

When is your next appointment? If it would give you peace of mind, I would go in again. Im on my second pregnancy too, after a 5 year break and I have the exact same things you are describing and it has been fine. Is it a lot of blood?

Next appt is March 4th. And it isnt a lot at all and no pain with it.

Then you're fine I had the same problem this is my 2nd pregnancy my doctor said it was due to my ovaries or something and everything was fine

I have the same thing. Yesterday and a couple weeks ago the whitish fluid had a brown tint. Been wiping brown a bit this pregnancy. I had it checked and they really just had no explanation and said the bleeding wasn't inside the main chamber. Just heard HB on a Doppler I bought online so I feel much better. Good luck to you.

I've been having the same thing. During week 6 I bleed most of the week and then I was fine until yesterday, 8w5d, and more bleeding. I haven't had an u/s yet but I called my doc and they moved my appt up to today. I'm so excited and scared at the same time. I keep hearing it's normal but it doesn't make it any easier. What Doppler has everyone been using?

I'm 9wks 3days and been having the same issue last night and today. Blood looks darker red and cramping so I'm waiting it out. My next u/s is Wednesday so just praying all is ok.

Spotting in pregnancy is actually fairly common because your cervix is even more sensitive than normal due to the high levels of estrogen. Spotting may occur after an internal exam, having sex, having a bowel movement, etc. I had one instance of spotting at 5 weeks and 3 days of spotting at 8 weeks after my internal exam. I went back in to get checked out and doctor did a cervical exam and discovered I had cervical ectopy, a condition where the cells usually on the inside of your cervix extend to the outside and can cause spotting because these cells are even more sensitive. https://gynaeonline.com/cervical_erosion.htm. This could be why you're experiencing spotting, but just know it's common in pregnancy and as long as you're not bleeding heavily (like a period) and don't have abdominal cramps (like a period), you should be just fine!

This post made me feel so much better. I'm 6w4d and I started bleeding after sex. It's just when I wipe. I never had this when I was pregnant with my first. My dr said it's normal but it's still scary when I see it. I have an appointment on Tuesday but it's so hard to wait.

I'm 11 weeks and just started having some bleeding last night. It's dark and not a large amount ... Been going on for two days now. The doctor said that can be normal as long as it's not increasing or accompanied with pain or cramping. I have an ultra sound Monday to make sure everything is still ok.

Make sure they check your progesterone level, anyone who's bleeding while pregnant.
