Pgp / spd ???

ive had really bad pain - what I can only explain as period pain but a dull ache especially when I move! Spoke to the midwife and see says I have symphysis pubis dysfunction!! Can anyone help/expand/relate to this?

    Did you happen to ask your midwife to help/expand/relate to it? That's probably a solid start.

    I'd contact your midwife with questions but I have that as well. Basically means the ligament in your pubic bone has overly relaxed too soon (because of the hormone Relaxin). I purchased a maternity belt and it has made a world of difference. But for sure call your midwife-they're the experts after all :smile:

    I spoke to the midwife on the phone i called the triage at the hospital as I couldn't move! :disappointed_relieved:
    My next midwife appointment isn't for another 2 weeks and I already have a maternity belt but nothing seems to be working, I'm taking paracetamol frequently and just wondered if anyone had any tips or anything to help. 9 weeks to go!! Feels like a lifetime away!!
