I was given a hand me down pack in play for my fosterbaby. It's almost brand new. I have the pack in play set up and it has a changing table in it - that's all great. It's graco. Then there's a big sheetlike thing that is suppose to be an "upper level" on the pack in play used to lay the infant down - like a bassinet. I have no idea how to set that up properly and I can't find instructions anywhere - even the web. The piece has two smaller bars in it - and it can hang from the top four bars around the pack in play BUT it would be almost hammock like if I leave it like that. Shouldn't it be a firmer place to lay the baby? Thanks in advance for any help.
Re: Pack and Play setup
That's the "bassinet" feature of the PnP, and yes it just suspends over the main part. The mattress is meant for use in the bassinet, if you're using it, and THEN gets moved to the bottom level once your LO has reached the weight limit (15lb) for the bassinet.

Thanks for your help!
The "mattress" is the fabric covered board-like piece. It is usually wrapped around the playpen when its folded up to make it easier to carry. Do you have that part?
If you do... it tucks into the corners of the loose "hammock" part you described. Tuck it into each corner and push it flat.
OMG thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!! I feel like the biggest idiot. It's perfect!! I've had it here a month and couldn't figure it out. And I had THREE other people try to help and they couldn't get it.
As you can tell, this is my first baby!
Thanks again!
