Just found out it's TWINS!

I went for my first appointment yesterday and the ultrasound showed not one, but two babies!! This will be number 3 and 4 for us, so even though I am so excited, I'm also a little nervous! Anyone else expecting multiples?

I might be having twins - there were two gestational sacs on the early ultrasound, but I am not calling it until I have seen two heartbeats. The next ultrasound is next week.

Thanks! And congrats to you as well! There are two sacks, so I think they are fraternal. I have another ultrasound in 4 weeks to see if they are sharing a placenta, so we'll know more then!

I believe if they are fraternal then they each have their own placenta. Congrats! A friend of mine just found out yesterday that she is expecting twins...and her pregnancy was unplanned. They were done....super huge surprise.

@amstranghoener‌ what were your initial HCG levels at 5-6 weeks? I'm just curious as mine are 25,807 and I'm 5w3d, not sure if that's high and suggesting multiples or not?

@chippercjm- I just had my blood work a day ago, so I'm not sure yet. I can tell you that compared to my first two pregnancies, I am MUCH more nauseous! And now I know why!

Congrats! Im 6w1d pregnant with twins! We just found out at our scan on Tuesday saw both tiny little heart beats and so excited! Scared as well as we just lost one at 10 weeks in October.

Question-do you feel like your symptoms are worse? Do you feel like you maybe showing earlier? I have a friend that had bad symptoms and literally showed at 8weeks with her twins! I don't have an appt until 12w so I won't know until April! Just curious!

@AmandaRN03‌ -my symptoms were definitely worse! Starting at 5 weeks I was nauseous constantly. And I definitely have a little pooch. Regardless of bloating, 3rd pregnancy, twins, whatever...I can't fit into my clothes!
