11 weeks loss of symptoms

hello! This is my fist pregnancy and I seem to be worrying about every little thing and I can't help it! Beginning at about week 5-6, I started having ms, fatigue, increased appetite and cramps. About two days ago, when I was at 11 weeks, all of those symptoms stopped. My appetite is back to normal, no ms, no naps and haven't had any cramps. I have been reading a lot of mixed reviews on other forums which is making me nervous. My next u/s is scheduled for next week to hear the heartbeat. My first u/s was good with hr of 150. Should I be worried about the sudden loss of sx??

Thanks!

No, don't be worried. My first pregnancy I lost symptoms around 9 weeks, and this one around 7. I totally understand the panic, its totally normal.

  • I would not panic. Every credible source I've had (books, doctor, mom lol) say symptoms will come and go. This is my first pregnancy too so I understand worrying over everything :)

  • I have started to feel better this week at 10 for me. I've heard that people feel great in the second trimester so I'm assuming it is because for both you and I, we're getting close to that. I wouldn't worry. I had an early ultrasound because I miscarried my first pregnancy and everything was also good for me. We're in the same boat!
  • Don't worry! It's totally normal. Try to feel happy about no more MS. That's wonderful.

  • Your hormones start leveling off around 11 weeks because the placenta takes over. Sometimes this means a decrease in symptoms (for some) but some moms don't get the relief yet. I started feeling much better at 11 weeks, and it's pretty common. There was another thread on this about a week ago, too. Don't worry!!
  • I'm at 10 weeks now and I'm definitely starting to lose the quesy feeling. I can actually go more than an hr without having to eat something and when i wake up in the morning same thing. I think it's just finally starting to level off :)
  • Me too darlin'!! :)

I'm at 10+1 right now and although I wouldn't say I feel 100% yet, I do notice that I am less exhausted than I have felt in the past weeks and just this morning I could go braless while getting ready without having to hold them in place when I walked LOL. Meaning, they aren't painful anymore! Freaked me out a bit!

I am a little nervous myself, but worrying doesn't get you anywhere, so until we have reason to believe otherwise, we should believe it's just due to approaching 2nd tri!! :)

  • this gives me such HOPE!!!!!!! 9 weeks here and in the thick of the worst few weeks of vomit and nausea ever. (3rd pregnancy) enjoy every minute of feeling normal!
  • I'm in the same boat..I just turned 11 weeks and it's like I woke up and was normal again! No queasy feeling..boobs are not sore..not as tired. Definitely some worries with me as I am a first timer as well but everyone tells me it starts to slow down about this time and to enjoy it..easier said then done!
  • I think it is totally normal to start feeling less symptoms when you are nearing your 2nd trimester. I wouldn't worry!!
  • I agree with everyone it's normal. You graduated from it that's all. With my second I was only sick from weeks 6-8, with this one, I'm 8.5 weeks I started to get nauseous week 6 and 7 and a few days ago it started to taper off. I'm not 100% but more like 95% and I will take it...try not to worry, emotions are transferred to your fetus. Enjoy.
  • I wish I would graduate from MS! Now, all that has happened, is my nausea meds don't work and I puke mid digestion about every meal. I'm worried because I am still so sick, I can't imagine being worried about not being sick. :P
  • Thank you so much to everyone for the positive feedback. It is nice to know there are many other women out there experiencing similar sx and worries! Sometimes men just don't fully get it and it's nice to have support from women going through the same thing! This definitely helps put my mind at ease! This means so much :)
  • At 8 or 9 weeks, my symptoms went away for a week and a half. I was ECSTATIC! Symptoms are back, but I never thought it was a negative. I was just so thrilled to live normally again...and not mouth breathe everywhere I went :)

But, I know it can be terrifying. And Google is a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE thing. Horrible. Horrible. :)
