What's your OB/MFM schedule look like?

I know The Bump gives guidelines I've read about when you are supposed to see your OB, etc. But, I know all of us are a little more special than the regular people;-). Sometimes I think they are just flying by the seat of their pants with me because I was seeing the RE, then the OB, then the MFM, I just don't want them to miss anything and think someone else did it! So, I was released by the RE to the OB at week 7. At week 11, the OB sent me to the MFM to evaluate lovenox use. I see the OB every two weeks and am now done at the MFM. But, they don't do anything when I go in-bp, pee in a cup, once a Doppler. Are you ladies being seen every 2 weeks? If so, what do they do? For those of you that got the NIPT testing, are they still doing the NT scans and bloodwork? When is the AFP? Do I still need that? When do they do an actual pelvic exam? (My latest worry is incompetent cervix...just because I need something to keep me up at night). Just wondering what 'normal' looks like for other IF'ers.. Tia!

Can someone tell me what MFM stands for?! I see my OB every 4 weeks. I pee in a cup, take my blood pressure, weight, then the Dr listens with the doppler. We also talk about any new symptoms/concerns. This is my second, so I really never have questions/concerns. Short & sweet...

    My History:
    Lots of BFN's & failed IUI's w/clomid and/or femara
Finally BFP with femara & t.i.- son born 6/17/2010
Started TTC again around when DS was 3ish
    Lots of BFN's with femara & t.i & ovidrel
Tubes clear, S.A came back low motility but high count
About to switch to injectables w/femara, did one last cycle with just femara & an IUI with ovidrel- stupid motility was fantastic in the sample, but count was 700,000 AFTER wash! Had to sign a paper to even still do IUI- BFFP (big fat freaking positive) Go figure!

    1st Beta 13dpiui 54, 2nd beta 48 hours later 115, 3rd beta 48 hours later 310, 4th beta 72 hours later 1748.

I see mine every 3-4 weeks, pee-Doppler etc, they did tell me today that I'd need growth scan ultrasounds at 28 and 34 weeks bc of doing ivf which isn't typical in normal pregnancy which I didn't know.

I did-they typically don't call if the results are in normal range but said they'd try to remember to let me know since I was stressed, they said I could try calling in Friday. They didn't seem as worried about it as me but I think I might be their first ever egg donor patient bc they are always double checking their methods for things.

I only see an MFM for all appointments. At 23 weeks, I went down to three weeks between appointments. Prior to that, it was every for weeks. Now at 29 weeks, I go in every two weeks. NSTs start at 33w for each appointment. Every appointment until now has been BP and weight check, ursine sample, Doppler check, fundal height measurement and visit with MFM. I've had growth scans every four weeks. It will be more frequent now that I'm getting close to when we discovered intrauterine growth restriction in my daughter's pregnancy. Before you know it, I'll be going in once a week and then twice weekly for NSTs. Ultrasounds checking amniotic fluid level will become more frequent, too. As for screening, I had MaterniT21 drawn at 11 weeks. Took about 5 days to get the results back.

Forgot to answer the pelvic exam question. My first one was early second tri, but that was on,y because we had a trip scheduled and my doc required me to have a pelvic to be cleared for air travel. After that,,I didnt have another pelvic exam until late third tri, I'm pretty sure I was 35w then. And that pelvic exam was only because of the IUGR diagnosis. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure my practice isn't big into pelvic exams unless there's a reason to do one.

From weeks 8-28 you see the OB every 4 weeks. Then 28-36 every two weeks. Then every week.

At 24-28 they do the GD test
AFP between 15-20 weeks this test still needs to be done even if you did free fetal DNA
    20 week anatomy scan
    36 week swab for gbs

They should have also done stds, CBC, iron and blood type

I see the MFM every month from 6-28 then every week. Then sometimes twice a week from 36 onwards however I have serious placenta issues.

Since I was released by my RE at 8 weeks, I've gone to my OB every 4 weeks.  Each time, they check BP, pee in a cup, and weight.  Initially, I was only covered to get an u/s done at 12/20/34 weeks.  But since I had a low lying placenta, I've had an u/s at just about every appointment.  I haven't had a pelvic exam.

I was really worried about my cervix just b/c I'd seen other ladies here with issues.  I didn't realize they could check the cervix from the u/s.  I expressed my concern about not having a pelvic exam, and it turned out she had already been checking the cervix length all along.

    Me 33, DH 37 -- TTC since Jan'12 -- Low AMH (0.78) & endo, SA w/ low motility
    IUI's 1-3 = BFN, IVF converted to IUI 4/13 = BFN
    IVF 1.2: 8R 6M 4F -- 2 blastocysts frozen, FET 8/15 = BFP!!

I saw my RE until 10 weeks and then switched to an Ob at 12 weeks. The first appointment they did a pelvic exam, bp check, peed in a cup, listened to the hb with the doppler and ordered blood work. I will be seen again in four weeks. Eventually I will go down to two weeks and then finally one week just like a normal pregnant person.
