Yes. With all (4) pregnancies. I would be extremely fatigued, shortness of breath, and feel faint periodically throughout the day. I have been prescribed iron pills, but the symptoms still don't disappear completely. All I noticed was the increase in constipation
Iron deficiency. My doctor said I have low iron. But I don't feel any different. She prescribed me some iron pills. I started taking them but again I felt no change. So now me and my husband are debating should I take them at all.
I have been prescribed iron 35mg. My iron is low. I gave birth 7 months ago and I'm now 22 weeks pregnant. I've been tired a lot. The doctor told me that my body had no time to heal from my last pregnancy. I take one a day and if I'm having a really hard day I take two. It seems to help with my energy.
Are you taking your prenatal vitamins daily? Check the label but they should provide you with the daily value % for pregnant women. Talk to your doc about changes to your diet/vitamin regimen to correct the problem.
@GirlsRuleThisFamily I know you didn't ask but just because you don't feel differently doesn't mean that the iron pills prescribed by your doctor aren't working. I would think that if you're considering not taking them anymore, you should talk to your doctor about it (not just your husband) - anemia can be dangerous to you and baby if left untreated.
Thanks everyone. I just feel very tired, shortness of breath and dizzy having a hard time to concentrating at work. But yes I've been prescribe some additional vitamins b12 and iron to help! Hopefully theses feelings go away soon:)
Re: Anyone experiencing deficiency in b12 an iron?
