It is Monday again. BOO!!! What is your mania/grip for the new work week?

I'm off today so this is a great start to the week!!!! I'm going to get a pedicure because my feet look like sandpaper.
I have no cakes this week so my week will be easy. But the kids are home from school so I will have 4 in my house all week. My son plus 3 That I babysit for. But they are all good kids so it will be fine.

Here are my cakes from this past weekend. I'm glad they are done because they took a long time.

wow, impressive! No major gripes for the week since it's a short week for me. SFUSD did a weird thing where we didn't get President's Day off but they are giving us a four day weekend at the end of the week. I'm off to see my new niece in Chicago who is about 2 weeks old. Very excited to see her, even though it's getting more painful to be around pregnant people and new babies. I'm excited for my trip also just for a change of pace.

But this weekend, I finished my pants! Here's a photo.

@Dwmmwd‌ did you make these pants from scratch/a pattern?? Really cool! I used to sew & quilt, now I mainly crotchet.

No real gripe for today. I had the day off so I got to spend it with my wonderful BF. I know this week is going to be crazy, we have to get 2 weeks of work done in 4 days since my boss is leaving for her belated Honeymoon on Saturday, for 10 days, and nobody higher up knows she's going to be gone. So we have to cover for her...... for 10 days! Bring on the week! It's going to be interesting...

I always want to share my photos but so often they are PG mammas or newborns and that would be a bit insensitive.

Wow @DMWMMD talented also! Im one of those that wishes they could sew as well. I don't think i would have the patience! lol

My gripe (even thought its TUESDAY)

OH MY GOSH MY HOME LOOKS LIKEA TORNADO HIT! We are remodeling a little and painting and putting in new flooring and everything is EVERYWHERE! Hubby and I and his dad are doing it ourselves so who knows how long it will be like this. I just have to know that its going to look so much better around here when its done! I feel like its always dirty and i can't clean! We also have a new table set coming and Its something I have wanted for YEARS!!!! It was my Valentines gift and I'm excited! I wish it was coming AFTER the floors were all done though!

My other gripe....my teen daughter. A post of its own coming on that soon. ugh!!!!!! GOD help me!

The issues Im having are new to me at the moment...ugh!

Im up and down lately. I may elaborate later.....right now i just can't visit that. Thank you for asking though. Its nice to feel cared about. I swear.....i think some of us reach out to others here so much because its the only place we can.

@kristenalecia You have been through so much recently, I can't imagine why you wouldn't be going through the emotional hell house. I think of you often and I hope things smooth out soon for you. It is never easy and you are allowed all the time you need.
