I'm looking into all of my options for a breast pump. My insurance covers a "Medea pump in style advance" and also a "Ameda purely yours ultra" has anybody ever heard of these and if so what are your opinions on them?

I bought the Pump in Style with my first, an LC recommended it as a good pump that would last for more than one kid. Expecting baby #3 and still going strong.

I had the Medela Pump in Style and it lasted through two of my kids and two of my sister's kids.

The lactation consultants at my hospital strongly recommend the medela. Also, you can pump directly into containers that can be used as bottles, which sounds like a nice perk!

I exclusively pumped after my first two and had the ameda. It copped out as I started to pump for baby #2 and had to buy another one.

FTM, but I've already ordered (through my insurance) the Medela Pump In Style Advanced. Every mom that I've talked to always says use the Medela PISA.
