Subchorionic Hemorrhage

Last Sunday I woke up, used the bathroom and a peice of my heart died... my body went limp and I almost passed out... I SCREAMED for my husband, who then came and peeled me off the bathroom floor.... as I am pointing to the blood in the toilet.....We called the dr on call in our OB's office who was rude and said "if its a miscarriage its gonna happen put your feet up and when you start cramping go to Er, anything else I can help you with..." exact words... no others..... I of course cried and begged my husband to pray over us... a little later the bleeding stopped and I thanked the Lord... stayed in bed all day and around 7pm got up to move my sore hips... after moving around for a few short minutes the blood started again... and we made our way to the ER and were admitted by 8:30pm. after several tests, and physical exams the ER DR determined that the baby was good and had a strong heartbeat. but that I had a SCH and I would need to be monitored by my OB. Sadly I can't get excited about a pregnancy I waited 4 1/2 yrs for because i am terrified of this itty bitty tear and the complications that could arise... Thankfully I found a new OB office that seems to be a bit more understanding and personable..... and have an appointment today to check on it. Anyone else been diagnosed with a Subchorionic Hemorrhage???

    I'm glad you found another OB with whom you're more comfortable, and hopefully your appointment today will bring you more peace of mind. My good friend had a SCH and she now has a healthy, handsome son as of last August. I don't have much insight for you, but I'll be praying for peace of mind as you meet your new OB!
