Fly out to LA. Rent a Corvette and drive to Vegas and spend a week there. I know, I know. It is not that romantic but so us. We have actually talked about doing this if we got married.

Mostly same old, with acupuncture, herbs, opks, monitor. Added vitamin D tincture as per RN after my blood work. Have an appt with RE on Feb. 25th. Hope to get at least a few answers or be pointed in a specific direction.

More optimistic. Although it's pretty funny that i feel that way considering I'll be away next weekend, which will likely be the fertile window.

2. How long have you been TTC? Are you TTC #1,#2,#3, etc.? Since miscarriage and D&C surgery May 2012, IVF/ICSI is our only option because of DH's dx.

3. What are you doing this cycle? Are you seeking help with a fertility specialist (RE)? If so, what stage are you in? Charting/temping? Testing? Medicated cycles? IUI? IVF? DE? Potentially IVF/ICSI #4 with a fresh PESA for DH and then CCS and later FET at the "big clinic".

4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test? Going next week for my annual/pap and additional blood work requested for IVF/ICSI #4.DH has a phone consult with a new infertility urologist on the 25thWaiting for blood results from tests from the work-up.Waiting for AF for CD 3 testing which need to be sent to the "big clinc" and to see if this cycle is even possible for us.

5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc) Anxious about test results and whether we can move forward. Also the costs are absolutely staggering so feeling guilty about that.

Waiting for AF to return after D&C. Yeah the bleeding has stopped after 10 weeks!!!!! Im so happy you ladies have NO IDEA!!

Hubby and I went to Maui for our honeymoon but we were only gone for 5 days. I would love to do a 10 day trip. We had such a blast and were not ready to come home yet.

2. TTC#2 for 11 cycles - naturally for now.
3. Went to RE, suggested IUI with all the drugs - but didn't say it was impossible to get pregnant on our own. Still working on DH. Started taking Metformin and FINALLY started temping!!

4. 2WW - Should wait to test 2/17, but I'm going to use FRER on Vday - it's possible, though not likely because of all our interruptions with HSG and SA this time around. We did BD on days 12 and 14 and I don't think I O'ed until CD16.

Ultimate romantic getaway - Bora Bora - I want to stay in a little cabana on the water with see through floors. Totally what I want to do for our 10 year anniversary!

Femara 7.5 days 2-6, temping, PNVs. Alcohol is over for me (I'm limited to one drink a day), and I've been off caffeine for some time. If this cycle doesn't take, we do two rounds of IUI then move up to IVF.

4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test?
I'm 12 DPO. I took a test this morning and got a BFN, if my period doesn't show up by Friday I'll test again.

5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)
I was letting myself feel hopeful because our timing was awesome (-3, -1, O, and +1), my boobs are unusually sore, and my temps have stayed above coverline except for a dip on 8-9 DPO. The BFN this morning really bummed me out, I was hoping we could get away with not doing IUI or, even scarier, IVF.

I would love to just flat-out move into the resort where we spent our honeymoon. That, or do a luxurious Grand Tour of Europe, only staying in the finest of hotels. I have fancy taste, I guess.

Vent: I still can't find a freaking job. I had an interview last week, but the job wasn't going to be a fit for me - it paid less than half of what I made in DC, and would require me to buy a car. So I'd come out behind on money.

Shout out: To the nurse at my fertility clinic, who, when explaining IUI, said, "Stress is bad for you..." and then to my husband, "This means pamper your wife!" So now I have a medical reason to insist DH make me a cup of tea.

4. I think 11dpo. Test day BFN. Was told to test again Friday and call with those results or if AF shows, which I expect. (Looks like we are cycle buddies @Austrogermokee‌ )
5. Want to feel positive. Need to look forward.

QOTW: probably go to a ball game and a nice dinner. Nothing fancy for the date. As a getaway- somewhere in the Caribbean where we can relax but there is stuff to do like shopping, ecotourism stuff, suggestions? Lol

Waiting for my cycles to return. Have an appointment for a checkup with a new OB tomorrow (we moved last year), and I'm looking forward to hearing what she thinks.
Feeling a little anxious, or at least impatient, about starting to ovulate again.

QOTW: An amazing meal in Italy -- lots of pasta, seafood, meat and delish wine. In this fantasy, I don't have Celiac.

TTC #2 since July, but next cycle will be our 6th medicated cycle.

Next cycle we will be doing Gonal-F CD 3-7, ultrasound to check follicle growth and then on from there to IUI #3. I'm off alcohol and diet coke, 1 cup coffee per day, trying to watch my sweet intake (:(), acupuncture, trying be chill out.

4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test?
Waiting for my period. Should have come today, so hopefully by tomorrow so I can get this show on the road.

I'm hopeful it will be the one - moving to all injects scares me but gives me hope that we'll get lots of "targets" and hopefully a good egg or two out of it.

@kindershlitz - I'm so sorry for the BFN, I'm going to stay hopeful for you. My RE says if I want to skip betas and just do home tests, I have to wait till CD14 before I say it's a for sure negative. So, my fingers are still crossed!!

12dpIUI #2 50mg Clomid, Progesterone supps, Acupuncture, Chinese herbs, CoQ10, No alcohol, No caffeine, More excercise, Better diet, OPKs

12dpIUI I did a Dollar tree test yesterday and it was a BFN, beta is on Friday so I told myself I won't test again and just wait for their results....

I keep wavering between optimistic and "I don't want to get my hopes up." And scared that if this cycle is a bust that means we're moving onto IVF. The cost and the process scares me.

I would LOVE to go back to Italy but this time with SO and take our time going through the entire country... Hell if money is not a factor we might as well do England/Ireland/Scotland too!

Temping and the rest natural. However, we will start ivf with our next cycle so also getting some additional tests done i need and doing lots of planning and meetings. I am also reducing my sugar intake.

@Teenie16 - Hope this cycle comes through for you. But if you do have to move on we just made the ivf decision. I was super scared too, mostly about the finances. Still am, but have to say that after doing all the research, talking with the dr.'s etc i am feeling a little better.

Temping. Went for consult on Tuesday with my OB - she set my up for progesterone/thyroid/Vit D blood test today. then HSG/CD3 blood test once AF shows up. My temps have been all over the place this month so no idea if i've O'd or not. Temps have been slightly higher since Sunday but not as clear a shift as previous cycles

i love cruises - but my favorite things are when DH plans a whole surprise trip. He's done one to see my favorite band play a concert (we took a long weekend trip to St Louis) and another to NYC. Both times he arranged everything - including PTO with my then bosses to make it happen. Super awesome to just show up and have a whole thing sorted out ahead of time!

Just had my first unmediated IUI on 2/3.

In the 2WW! I am 9dpIUI and trying to be patient.

I broke down and took a FRER this morning, bfn. Hoping it is just too early. Relying both anxious and hopeful. Feeling oddly empty, though I am sure that is all in my head because of the bfn.

Vent: my job is sucking away my happiness one day at a time ha ha ha. I saw one of those e-card things that had a picture of a graph in a business meeting and the caption was "I just wanted to show you how much my soul has died since I started working here" and I was like OMG that's me! Its sad... I applied to 2 jobs yesterday though so you never know. Fingers crossed!

Hi Ladies!

I suck at being active on this board but I am still here. I am basically hanging out. I am with a new RE and he is wonderful so I am hopeful but have accepted I may need to move on to IVF with donor eggs. No biggie...the place the clinic gets it's donor eggs is the same I get my donor sperm so I'm already an established customer LOL!

I am ttc #1 and it has been a year already but since I am medicated to make my body do everything plus heavily monitored, I no longer temp or keep track of anything.

Anyone hear of or have experience taking baby aspirin to improve blood circulation? I stumbled across it on the web and it said it has helped women get pg who have been struggling (it also said it minimizes m/c and helps improve egg quality). I know you shouldn't change anything without time for your body to adjust so I am hoping that starting this on CD1 will be enough time. Just thought I would throw it out there to see if anyone knows anything about this regimen.
