AW- I get an all inclusive two day stay at the hospital...(Update)

I came in because I noticed I had more discharge than usual (glamorous I know) when they hooked me up to monitors they asked me if I was feeling contractions and I said no. They then informed me I was having them and I was almost 3 cm dialated. They gave me meds and a steroid shot and things seemed to have slowed down. They also did an ultra sound and told me baby is over 5lbs at 32 weeks!!! We are team green and a med student said "5lbs is a big boy!" she then came back in and apologized and said she isn't trained at reading ultrasounds so she didn't give it away. Luckily my hubby wasn't here so I may just keep that to my self but I'm thinking she let it slip on accident. So I'm here for two nights to be monitored and I'm super lonely. Family and Hubby come back in the morning. But just looking for some company for all you awesome ladies. Sorry to be an AW. I hope you are all doing well, we are almost in the home stretch!!

    Kudos to you for being team green this long. I wanted to be surprised but caved in at my 20 week US. But thank God you went to the hospital when you did! Hopefully the contractions go away soon and you'll get to go home. :)

    I was in the same boat last week at 28 weeks 6 days. Hope everything quiets down for you. Just remember the weight estimates are +\- 1 lb. good luck!!

    Glad your baby is doing well in there! I hope baby stays put awhile longer for you. We were team green with my son and it was amazing and very emotional finding out as he was born :) I wish hubby would have been on board for doing it again this time. Hang in there mama!

    I was also havin contractions I knew nothing about! Wasn't dilated though. The shot they gave me stopped those babies right away so hopefully you'll have the same luck!

    Hi Ladies! I hope everyone is doing well! I'm still here unfortunately. Had to stay another day due to some more contractions plus I'm in Worcester which is in the middle of a blizzard so they wanted me to stay here. If I haven't dialated than I should be able to go home. Just may be one of those women who contracts for weeks before labor, in my mind there are worse things so I'm happy as long as baby is healthy.     Glad to hear you guys are doing ok and that you are in good hands. Probably a good call to stay through the blizzard just to be safe.

    Good to hear! Thanks for the update! I'm in MA too not far from you! This weather is horrible- and glad you didn't have to venture out today!!! Tuesday they are calling for more snow- be careful and take it easy. Good luck momma
