Hi Ladies,
I've mostly been reading and stalking bc things have been a roller coaster for me. But, I'm happy to report that things seemed to have settled down for now.
Today, I'm 23 weeks, 4 days. It's been a little over 2 weeks since I was admitted for PPROM with our twin girls. Tuesday (VDay-24 weeks) can't get here soon enough.
Still in the hospital on bedrest but I'm allowed to take my own 5 step bathroom trips and shower about once or twice a week. Yuck. MFM ordered a steroid injection this past Wed and had another on Thursday to help babies lungs develop. Thankful that it helped the girls, but was pretty bad for me. Glad it's done until another double dose in a week or two.
Two nights ago I started having contractions. Mostly felt like a hard tummy so I didn't know what it was for sure. But, it didn't feel good and they became about 15 minutes apart, so they brought me to L&D. Got an IV for fluids and a shot in the arm for something that made my heart race but stopped contractions. Also, they wrapped these super tight Velcro straps around my belly to monitor both babies and one for contractions. Thankfully, both girls' heartrates were good and they only saw one or two more contractions. Spent the night wide awake and scared there. Woke up with the worst stomach ache from the tight straps. Better the next day and by 1, got moved back to my room in maternity.
MFM said contractions are normal as long as they aren't more than 3 in an hour and he is happy with my progress now. Our next goal is 24, then 28, then 34 weeks for delivery. I think they might also put me on a magnesium 24 hour drip once 25 weeks rolls around to help their brain development.
Sorry for the novel. I wish I was less grumpy. I've noticed that it's amateur hour with the staff at the hospital on the weekends and I'm frustrated. One nurse handed me the Doppler (they check every 4 hours) and told me to find them. WTF?! Only one of half dozen ridiculous stories. But, holding out for the kind and skilled staff in another day or so.

AFM, we are only 24 weeks, 6 days as of midnight tonight. Looks like I "lucked out" sort of for a day because my 3 hour glucose test is being re-scheduled. I was rushed back over to L&D two nights ago for contractions 3-4 minutes apart. Oh, the yuckiness ensued and I'm such a wimp. First, they hooked me up to another IV and started a fast painful dose of magnesium to slow contractions (and develop baby brains). Then, the dreaded catheter (since you literally can't move to get up to pee getting magnesium.), and the amazing torture 3- part double Velcro straps to monitor babies heartbeats and my contraction. Then, Dr K visited to check if I was dilated. HOW COME NOBODY EVER SAID HOW TERRIBLY PAINFUL THIS IS?! I'm pretty sure I screamed bloody murder. Poor guy. And I'm humiliated. Good thing the results were good: barely a tip of a pinky-sized finger dilated. At some point I freaked out crying and had an embarrassing anxiety attack. I feel like an absolute moron. Also had an US with minimal results. How can you get good reading when I'm having contractions 3-4 minutes apart? So, I think fluid is the same but doc couldn't really tell. Worried that Baby A is the same size as US over a week ago (a little over a pound) and Baby B is about 1.75 lbs.
This morning I toughed out another steroid in-the-butt shot and didn't have a VVR. Yay! Maybe I'm finally growing up. One more in the other cheek tomorrow.
I hope I have a chance to control my behavior better next time. Not looking forward to it. Long way to go. 34 weeks please come calmly.
Thanks for reading. You ladies are my number one comfort source right now (even though a therapist visits 2 x a week because doctor thinks I'm crazy.) Hope your all doing well.

@AMShark Thank you. You literally having me lol and the nurses are probably staring. I appreciate it. I do miss my 3 cats. So very much. My DH has been sending me little photos and vids to cheer me up.
I'm feeling better today. Proud that I survived a 3rd IV jab and only had 4-5 contractions today. But about an hour apart and not painful just the hard belly kind. Doc isn't worried about Baby A's growth. So, I guess I need to have the same positive attitude. She sure kicks a lot. I think I understand the term "lightning crotch" now.

I think about you both stuck in the hospital all the time. I wonder due to carrying twins if I might endure the same fate. I admire you both for being so strong enduring this torture for the sake of your LOs. I hope you are rewarded with perfectly healthy babies.

Beta #1 at 9dpo: 51.8, 2nd beta: 195 (25 hours doubling) @11dpo. 3rd beta (12/15): 516 (35 hrs doubling) 4th beta(12/17): 895 (58 hours doubling) 5th beta(12/19): 2120. U/S at 5w0d(12/22): one gestational sac with yolk sac. U/S #2 (6w0d)12/29. One little bean measuring 6w0d with HR 124. 3rd u/s(1/4)7w0d: baby measuring 7w2d. ER: 8/6, 12 follicles, 7 fertilized w/ ICSI; ET: 8/11, 3 blastocysts left, 2 transferred, 3rd arrested 8/12 - none to freeze
1st beta 8/19 - BFP! 294; 2nd beta 8/26 - 4976; 1st u/s 9/2; 2nd u/s 9/9 - two little heartbeats at 140 each!!!

IVF #1(10/12) FSH 5.4, AFC: 16 long Lupron, 5R/5M/4F, all 4 made it to 5dt, 1 blast/1-8 cell transferred=BFN
IVF #2(12/12)AFC 21, MD lupron, 4R/4M/3F, 5dt of 1 blast and 2-8cell. BFN.
IVF#3(4/13) Natural start antagon protocol, 12R,11F. one PGS normal at day 6 transfer. BFN.
IVF#4 (11/13) C.CRM (ODW.U normal 8/13 Still no Diagnosis) EPP/antagonist. ER 13R/7M/6F. Only 1 made it to freeze. Abnormal. Looking into options of DE, Fresh vs frozen.
10/14 new local RE to look into what's next. CD3 FSH 4.7, AMH 0.9. Met with DE agencies and exploring options for feb/march 2015.
Surprise natural bfp (4 days before donor is signed). Beta #1 at 9dpo: 51.8, 2nd beta: 195 (25 hours doubling) @11dpo. 3rd beta (12/15): 516 (35 hrs doubling) 4th beta(12/17): 895 (58 hours doubling) 5th beta(12/19): 2120. U/S at 5w0d(12/22): one gestational sac with yolk sac. U/S #2 (6w0d)12/29. One little bean measuring 6w0d with HR 124. 3rd u/s(1/4)7w0d: baby measuring 7w2d.
