I've been worried about low supply from day one. Baby girl was born with a tongue and lip tie and both were clipped at 1 week old. We got off to a rough start and I feel like it's affecting my supply now.
She's now 2 weeks and 3 days old. Birth weight was 9lbs 6oz, discharge weight the next day was 9lbs, 1oz. She was born on January 27 and at her check-up today, Feb. 13, she weighed 9lbs 11oz. My pediatrician says her weight gain is fine, but I'm just concerned overall.
I successfully breastfed my first child for 10 months so I'm not sure why I'm so apprehensive...My right breast is my lazy boob and doesn't get nearly as full as the left one. I don't hear her swallow much on that side, except at night when she goes a bit longer between feedings and I get a bit more full. What can I do to make my lazy boob catch up? I've tried pumping, fenugreek and starting with that breast first.
